Fixed. Meant launch. Traction control is NOT awesome. My last run of the event was foiled by traction control after the car stalled as I was pulling up to stage and I forgot to turn it back off I was dead set that I had a 31.XXX in me but that dashed those hopes.

Just walked into the door.. I will provide my thoughts on the weekend here in a bit. But Tim pretty much hit it on the head.. The Car Is there.. Just got to tighten the nut behind the wheel.

More later after I decompress

First off.. It was a great 'learning' weekend. Thanks to Tim for taking time out of his busy busy schedule to come play in Toledo.

Lessons Learned:
-Never go to an event that you have no knowledge of the surface without some kind of plan. Not alot of time to adjust on the car. It pretty much needs to be perfect out of the box.

With that said, Make sure you make your notes. I have a Log book that I keep but havn't updated it in a couple of events. So that setup you had at a similar course back when might be close enough to the setup you need to at least get started.

We started the event on Dunlops. and noticed right away that we were tight in some of the more technical sections, which kinda cost us some time as we couldn't get back to the gas quick enough having to wait for the car to settle out. I am learning you just can't bolt a set of tires on and expect it to work with the previous settings. I also have a set of Hankooks mounted up, and Both tires requires a little bit different setup. What was looser on the Hankooks, might be tighter on the Dunlops.. so make sure you have your notes to refer to.

-I am used to "practice" meaning a small course is setup so you can dial your car in a bit. Well not at Pro's... :/ ... Practice at Pro's are the starts...your Reaction time and 60ft. Silly me thought you actually got to run a course to see how the car felt..

-Tim is right about how my car feels vs. how a stock one feels. Everything in my car feels very connected. steering/drivetrain/suspension etc. and is very sensitive on the feedback it provides. I am used to it.. so I look for those indicators, on how the car is behaving on track. Believe it when I say. 1 Click here or there, my car notices that. it has a very delicate balance point.. To far one way, it could totally reverse how the car feels.

As for the actual event.. The Car is there as it was only 3/10ths off the lead on one side and 5/10ths on the other side.. just have to 'tune' the driver and make sure he does the homework on his notes... and no RL or cones..

Thanks again Tim. Hope you had fun.

Besides Simmons, are any of the other top twin drivers on the forum?

Good vid, looks like a fast and fun course. Every time I hear Danny Kao's name I think about his all aluminum performance radiator and no fan shrouds.

Bill, did you end up using the Kartboy brackets and shaving down the knuckle as per Ken's install guide or are using Ken's brackets as well?

I shaved down the knuckle and used Kens.. KB's Brackets would not work at all. his is for a 170mm rear Drum.. Kens is used for the 190mm Drum. that and KB didn't want to re-invent the wheel, and decided not to pursue making the brackets for the later model stuff.. :/ .. But Ken Came thru.. his fit very well and do the job.. They are a bit heavier than I would have liked as they are made from Steel. so not the lightest.. but again Effective bracket he has. End Result.. Rear 2 pots that match the front..has AWESOME stopping Power.
