Got the unichip installed and it makes one hell of a difference :0)

Can't wait for the wideband and fp to come in next week so i can see what i can crank out of this thing. So far the provided maps are great though! Only played with two so far but will test them out over the next week to see what i'll start basing my "tune" off of

Got my windows tinted today. There are a massive amount of bubbles all over all the windows. They told me it'd go away in a week or so as the water evaporates but I'm a little worried because there are so many. There's also no warranty because they don't cover illegal percentages of tint with warranties ughhh I hope they go away.

When I picked up my car from being tinted there were no bubbles and I love in a humid place

Took the "Subaru" and "BRZ" badging off.... really easily. Was in the sun for the entire day. The "U" came off when I went to close the trunk, so I figured, "what the hell". Tints next week.

@FR-Shadow WOW, the hood looks amazing on your car! I want one for my Firestorm, I just don't think it'll be as nice on my color

very nice..
The stock wheels weigh approximately 20lbs. If you add the stock Michelin tire combo it weighs 41 (approximate). The kosei 17x7 weighs 14 lbs. So yeah, we can save that much from rims if we don't go to a bigger diameter and width. Though I might not receive as much traction in a autocross or road course if I go 18-8 or whatever. I can make up in acceleration. I have to be careful what tire I choose also, as there are many heavy tires also.

Hilarious, but to each his own

Any idea how much do they cost? the JDM's exhaust tips cost $150 including shipping from one of the buyer on Junkbay.

Duuuuuuuude. Good to hear you're okay, but so sad about your car.

As I crossed the intersection, just saw this Black Prius at the corner of my left eye hurtling at 45 MPH, I just braced for it, and it t-boned me. Car was thrown 25 feet and spun 180 degrees. I didn't hear nor see any skid marks from somebody trying to frantically break/stop a car, I guess the other driver was distracted doing something else.

Insurance just called today, said it was likely to be deemed a total loss. I came out ok, almost unscathed except for the whiplash. I do have to say, that FR-S saved me from serious injury, and for that I'm very grateful to Toyota/Subaru.

I'm thinking of getting a second e36 M3 instead, and would probably wait for the MCR (mid-cycle refresh) of the FR-S before buying it again. As much as I love it, could still use a bit more torque and wider wheels as OEM
