Fog Light Help!! Gap

I finally installed the left fog light and realized the bezel doesnt sit flush with the fog light. Is this normal? did I mess something up?

Could really use some advice!

Sadly that's how it sits with the outback fog light housings. I haven't seen any way to get it to sit any closer. Some people have used weather stripping to fill up the gap.

Are you sure the tabs on the bezel are all the way in? From the looks of it there is definitely too much space between them

I disagree I have Subaru Glass fogs and they are not that far back, they should almost sit on top of the lip in the second picture.

You mean the new $400 one from toyota? with the big brackets that hold the fog lamp?

I have this kit and mine do the same. The lights do not sit flush against it. There is a small gap and I've thoroughly examined the bumper and every single tab when I was putting them on. It's the way the kit mounts.

I will play with them more tonight, it's f good to know I didn't mess up at least.

Is there a link to a thread where people try to remedy it?

I saw them installed at the dealer. The gap is in theirs also. Must be how they're designed.
