Fog Light Help!! Gap
I finally installed the left fog light and realized the bezel doesnt sit flush with the fog light. Is this normal? did I mess something up?

Is it oem housings or from the outback?
The glass outback housings doea not sit flush |
Sadly that's how it sits with the outback fog light housings. I haven't seen any way to get it to sit any closer. Some people have used weather stripping to fill up the gap.

Are you sure the tabs on the bezel are all the way in? From the looks of it there is definitely too much space between them
|
its oem, just picked them up from toyota. I had some trouble with the tabs but they all seemed to snap in.
|
if they are OEM it should sit flush you think?

Not sure if you saw this but: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=40153 http://i.imgur.com/h2D3Gz0.jpg |
I have this kit and mine do the same. The lights do not sit flush against it. There is a small gap and I've thoroughly examined the bumper and every single tab when I was putting them on. It's the way the kit mounts.
|
I will play with them more tonight, it's f good to know I didn't mess up at least.
Is there a link to a thread where people try to remedy it? Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |
Finished the install, both lights were the same gap, pretty sure its how its designed
|
I saw them installed at the dealer. The gap is in theirs also. Must be how they're designed.
