Looks like you fixed that craziness that was happening after 6.5K on the first round of Vortech basemaps. Good job!

Yeah , the HKS car I was working on was doing something similar just more drastic had a look at a few things and found the issue.

So.... who else has this problem?

It is rare i ever see my airbox closed shut. If you just tap the airbox the winged clamps completely rotate loose... It is damaging my hood and i fear it slipping out and hitting my belt at this point. I don't know why simple bolts were not acceptable like most OEM's. =/ The entire setup just looks cheesy and low quality. I really wish the supercharger was just moved slightly or used a secondary belt instead of the main one.

edit: @Brian@Vortech i think you guys should add this to the manual of how to secure the air box ;D

Pretty sure I have a bit of a boost leak. Pulling the front bumper tonight anyways so am going to check all the couplers and hopefully find it.

I thought I was going to have this issue when I first saw the wing thingies (yes that's a technical term), but it has managed to stay shut on mine. One thing I might recommend is to make sure the rubber gasket material is sealing correctly against the filter box. You could probably even get thicker gasket material to make a better snug fit which should keep things in place.

The whole "hatch" setup just looks cheap and low quality. It rattles a lot and has damaged the insulation under my hood. I am just surprised at how bad it was. It should have just been screws/bolts. I also have problems with all other bolts on my air box slowly backing them selves out. Everything else is fine on the car. I am wondering if it is due to the heat in my area causing slight warping?

Could be. You could replace then with regular screws/bolts - check out what charged86 did with some parts from Ace hardware:

I had a talk with Brian yesterday and a few of their engineers about their new cast intake pipe. Going to be doing a follow up on the install and support impressions.

But needless to say, at this point I think despite some of the issues it has become clear, having stateside, support, engineering and manufacturing is critical. It's a smart move buying a kit from a company who's primary business is Superchargers. (More on this later)

At first I seriously questioned my choice with this kit but now working through it talking to other owners I no longer regret it.
