Btw, 17:1 AFR in the dyno sheet post in page 1? Good luck making a motor last with that.
Thanks Mr troll. That's the stock tune

Got any of the updated tune? Those would be better to post.

I'm also curious to see how it holds up to track use. Stop light racing is great when your 17 but holds as much clout as my minivan having a heated steering wheel.

Without supercharger I should say. Supercharger is nice and rich where it needs to be. Even more so now that I have a brzedit tune.

We hold 12:1 all the way to redline

I took some time to compare Fenton's STOCK torque values with other dyno posts that were closer to sea level. This was a wide cross section of owners that installed headers, turbos and SC's. Sure enough, Fenton's stock torque is about 15% below what others are showing below 4000 rpm, and about 10% below what others are showing between 4000-6000 rpm and then about 12% below through 7000 rpm.

Plugging this info into spreadsheet it's easy to see that the eCharger should be able to produce a peak of ~205 lb-ft of torque @ 4750 rpm below 1,000' MSL. 90% of this value (~185 lb-ft) is available between 3000 and 6000 rpm. Peak horsepower (TQ x RPM / 5252) of 230 should occur at 6750 rpm.

What's most exciting about this (to me at least) is that this setup has a Clark Kent / Superman personality; mild mannered most of the time but able to leap tall buildings when required.

When can I buy this? Seriously, please take my money.

Track use hasn't been evaluated yet. If you had bothered to read, you would have seen that the educated guess is that you could easily drain the batteries quickly, since a lot of racing is spent at WOT. This has never been suggested as something that could replace a conventional turbo or SC, but something that you could use at the drag strip or just on a DD basis. Please try to understand this.

And you are being the classic troll--a rose by any other name is still a rose, you may as well own up to it. Your statements are very obviously made without you bothering to spend much time looking at the thread (which is quite long, granted). Do us a favor and go back to the GC forums, they seem to like you there

Fanboyism?? People here are just trying to see the development of this in peace w/o you crapping all over the thread making nonsensical statements and flaming people. You have no interest in the product and keep bashing people that do, how are you not a troll?

Haha, I've read 22 pages of this and really it breaks down similarly to the last 3 pages, a few supporters who will violently interact with anyone questioning the device. If you'd read my posts, I posted about 30 pages ago saying "interesting" and planned on following. I'm seeing some data but nothing that would make me willing to throw $2,000 at it.

The GC guys act a lot like you, you'd get along well. My favorites so far is the guy up a few posts with a sunfire and a Mazda 3 slinging his e-peen on the 86 forum... Really sad cause I love the GC but there's not enough to make it worth building anything aftermarket for them.

Fenton; when you have a package ready to send out, I'll gladly do a third party test on it, and I'm sure Bob@Drift Office would do sea level testing on his dyno for free if you can convince someone in the PacNW to buy it. When I'm settled in NC, ill get back in touch with 3sx and make sure I can get some time in the dyno.

fenton, I know this is a lot to ask but how possible would it be to travel to a location closer to sea level to do a dyno run?

This is not my package to sell. I am proving the system out for the builder making sure everything works as expected. I am the third party test.... I have absolutely no stake in the success of this project although I wish I did seeing how it performs.

Rob has all the testers we need as of now I believe. You are free to buy one and try it once they become available.

Lol. Ya nitrous is pretty much a drag strip thing.

The only place I don't see the electric charger working 100 percent is circuit racing.

This thing is perfect for dd and I would say would be fine for autocross as well. Going wide open the batteries last about a minute and a half. On the streets you never can do that and even on autocross you are partial throttle more than full throttle.

The other thing is if you just go 80 percent throttle you have the exact perfmance as stock... Leave the juice for the straights and you might not even do half bad on a road course

I'm seriously thinking of getting this and having Bob@Drift_Office tune my car with it. I'm sure Bob would love to tune of these things
