If only there was a Silver Ignition thread...

...there are plenty Firestorm ones - keeping me plenty interested in this color.

Firestorm looks great when it's clean, polished and waxed. When it's not, it just looks kinda red. And it's a solid color, no metalflake, so it shows every scratch, swirl and goober in the sunlight. I've always found red to be almost as difficult to maintain as black. And despite all that, I bought one in Firestorm because it's a sports car. I have an MX-5 in True Red also. Same reason.

When I have to clean it I think I would have liked the Ultramarine. It's a beautiful blue, loaded with metalflake, and really pops in the sunlight. But when I'm done polishing, I'm still happy with the Firestorm.

Yellow would have been a good choice for me too if they actually made one...

Tough decision - good luck with it!

Ultramarine looks great in the sun, and it is quite easy to keep clean, the car looks sharp even with a dust layer on it, nobody knows from far away. I live in a shitty appartment and can't clean it all the time so it works good with me .

So I got white.

My husband and I have both an Asphalt and a Silver Ignit10n. If going stealth mode is your thing, I'd vote asphalt but if you like the bells and whistles on the Series 10, it's totally worth it. Personally, if you haven't seen the Series 10 in person yet, check it out. Pictures really don't do it justice.

Of the stock colours, I think Asphalt is the best. It really shows off the lines of the car, but it also takes a lot of maintenance as it can look dirty really fast.

I respectfully disagree. My asphalt looks clean up to 2 feet away even when it's dirty.

It could be that we haven't opticoated or anything like that, and my husband works next to a construction zone. She gets really dirty really fast, despite regular washings, and it seems more visible compared to the Series 10 - so far. Only have had the second frs for about a week.

No worries! I think environment has a lot to do with it as well.

Past weekend I stopped by our Scion, they had 3 series 10's, one outside in shade, another outside in full sun, another inside showroom. I was pretty underwhelmed by the color, it didn't do anything for me. I really didn't like the silver seatbelts!
Hot Lava is a pretty cool color, but it just isn't my personality. I ended up with Raven. I was going to go Whiteout, but saw the Raven in person out in sun and it sold me. Asphalt is pretty nice too.

I'll admit I was pretty undwhelmedat first also. Since I work close by scion, I visit every few days. I'll have to admit its grown on me some. At certain angles you can get golds, blues, purples, and even some teal highlights.

My "snobby" Porsche/BMW driving friend said it looked like really good and nice paint, although it will be hard to touch up...

However, I think if they offered red or yellow with the same feature set as the 10 series I would almost certainly get one of those two. Even black would be cool.

For me, it's a sports car - I want a sporty color!

The only color I definitely don't want is asphalt or argento. I think the flake is too heavy on asphalt, and silver was too bland. I'm iffy on orange or ultramarine. Any other color ill be okay with, but only the red, yellow, white, and black have created that knee jerk "want it" reaction for me.

Silver ignition looked almost like argento, and was disappointed with it, but again, after I've seen it in more lighting its grown on me.

I have the White Pearl looks great but if I did it again, I'd get silver. I like to contract Silver makes with the tires, chrome, etc.
