An almost new owner - help me pick a color?

hey all

I'm relatively new to the forum. Nice to be here. I'm trying to decide if I like the series 10 color enough for me to pick one up, because for a long time I've really liked the red and white ones (although I see too many white ones, so I decided not to get it).

What do you all think of the Silver Ignition color? I'm not too crazy about the light up badges and stuff, but when I saw them in person, they aren't too bad looking.

Anyway, nice to meet you all, and thanks for all your suggestions in advance.

Well you get a lot of stuff on the Series 10 you won't get on a regular model. Mine had to be blue, I wasn't going to settle for any other color.

Silver ignition doesn't draw a lot of attention by its colour. Compared to other FR-S, it has a little more content in terms of HID's with LED DRL's, climate control, light up dash, shifter, and badges outside, but, it has to be silver ignition. Otherwise, if you aren't hung up on those things, Hot Lava and Firestorm attract quite a bit of attention.

I don't like the silver much. I love the look of this car in raven and white.. Sometimes I wish I went with the white, tbh. Asphalt is really nice as well.. not many of them around. If you live somewhere really dusty, asphalt would be ideal.

edit: just realized you don't want white.. tail end of a night shift x.x go with raven/asphalt!

I was able to see all the colors available right next to each other (except the 10 series) and man was it difficult to chose. I ended up choosing whiteout just because I have a truck with the almost the same color. But if I was buying a Frs right now I would get a 10 series. When the sun hits that thing it really looks sharp. Plus you get a few goodies that most us want in our frs.

I personally love Silver ignition, I'm a fan of light blue and Silver ignition has that light hint of blue and looks absolutely gorgeous!

The light up stuff can be disconnected if you don't like it.

The 10 series has lots more features as noted above (auto climate control, push button start, better HIDs, etc). It also costs more. Personally, I would probably at least give the 10 series a look, but I really like the Ultramarine.

I didn't get series ten because of color. When it came down to it, it was between raven and firestorm and decided on firestorm and never regretted it for a second. It looks amazing to this day.

I'd leave it up to fate. Tell the dealer the few colors you're undecided on and tell him the first one of those few he gets it's yours. If he already has them in stock, make a game of it and choose the one with the highest serial number.

Go asphalt all the way easy to clean looks nice and you don't see many around. I see a lot of firestorm, whiteout and raven.

Whiteout is about every FR-S I ever see as well, I like the color, but I am tired of it. Originally wanted a Hot Lava, but the wait was too long and decided to get the Firestorm which I do not regret at all. The silver ignition is not a bad color, but I would say stay away from the Argento, it just doesn't wow. You really can't go wrong on any color though, the car is just too awesome.

I got one in Hot Lava and couldn't be happier. Depending on the weather it's always a different shade too. As an added bonus, it's a really rare color.

Don't be a hater, get a H8R.

Even though I love my raven, sometimes I wish I got argento. It looks so good plus keeping it clean won't be as hard.
