Watch the youtube videos and do it right the first time. I did my wheels last august and they're still holding strong.

I've got the sprayer from dipyourcar if you want to use it for a better finish than the rattle cans will give you.

Hmm... I'm not exactly sure what the law out here is but make sure you can do that. I would imagine defacing any of the plate would be a no no but again, this is me being ignorant and not knowing. Just trying to help a brotha out.

Most people aren't happy with how the gloss turns out. It's never even and glossy like a "real" gloss finish. I have seen people mix gloss with the matte color and get a semigloss finish like you would on a wheel and be very happy with it.

I hear you. It'll be gloss black vinyl and can be removed if I'm pulled over, at worst. I've seen many people with similarly "converted" plates so, while it may not be 100% legal, it's not likely to be high up on the police priority list.

I've found the 3M paint defender to give more of a clearcoat look than the actual glossifier. Glossifier gives more of a satin finish. But the 3M stuff can be tricky to apply.

Thanks for the code reading!! Will do some research with Unichip and Vivid to see if the problem looks familiar and is preventable!

If I can build my confidence that the car is safe to drive as is, I might see you all this Saturday at the PAVS!

Sub single channel. 7 maybe 8 hundred watts. Its for a kappa perfect rated for 1000 but its kinda old.
