I am glad to see it left in CS, it is a great fit for it.

Planning ahead for next year ... it looks like most of you are running 225s and a few 235s. Anyone with 245s or 255s on the 7" wheels?

Bigger than a 225 on a 7" wheel (street tire only, this doesnt include RComps) isnt really the best move for most cars. Pinched tires will cause turn in to be much poorer than it should be.
Im buying tires now, stuck between 215 and 225 but since I run RS3s whicha re known to have softsidewalls, Im going with a 215 I believe. If I was buying Rivals or Z2s, Id go 225.

I just picked up 225 Rivals. 235s will fit. 245s are too much and will probably rub.
I asked in a few previous threads and none of the 215 guys were happy with them. |

What do you guys think about the twins against the 370Z in C Street? It doesn't look like there's a lot of data in the 370Z in RTR trim.

The 370Z will be a tough car to run in RTR/C Street. It was competitive but didnt top the podium often on R Comps. With it being significantly heavier than NC Miata, RX8 and Twins, it will have more trouble than before now on street tires. On a really open track, it will shine but it won't transition near as well, swinging 3300-3400lbs around on street tires.

Someone from my local SCCA chapter is thinking of going down to 16's on their BRZ for CS next year. What do you guys think of going to 16's on these cars?

Either way, I think the 16" tire selection would be pretty disappointing. I ran 16x8s on my WRX for a while and there was hardly anything to choose from.

I wish I could find 18x7 +42-48 wheels that are light enough but they dont exist. I have an idea to really help this car but I dont have the money to have someone build me a custom set.
