It's all good even the new Scion foglights are made cheap nothing like some of the foglight kits from the forum's vendors.

I won't be buying the Scion foglight kit as I'll buy one of the better foglight kits offered by the vendors you know the ones with the "Turn Signal Stalk with Fog Light Switch".

This is why I ordered my FR-S stock so I could put the better parts on my car vs what the dealer has or wants to add to the car.

$399 is an absolute joke, and I would demand they remove it and not pay for that (if they say they can't, they are lying. Easy install, easy to remove). This is why I bought a complete base model and do my own upgrades, its just the dealerships way of gouging you for extra profit. Heck, you could buy it yourself and pay someone to install for cheaper. The F-T DRL kit is a pretty easy install using the DIY on this forum, probably takes less than 20 minutes for the dealership to install. A quick check of ebay shows them for 109.00 http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-2013-SC...b397c3&vxp=mtr

Dealership probably gets them for less than that, charges 300 for installation basically.

Edit: I have these on mine, and use them as DRLs (had the dealership turn off the regular DRLs). Looks really sharp in my opinion, but don't let the dealership rip you off!

They definitely appear to be a standard "option" here in Texas as I see more and more of them.

I just bought my FRS a couple weeks ago. The guy there had a fully-built white FRS at home and another black one he showed me when I was picking mine up. He knew a good chunk of trivia about little things on these cars.

According to him only a handful of FRS's have these things. I think he said only 100. Novelty item for sure. I'll most likely be waiting to trade them for the Toyota fog lights.

LED running lights--plffff!
I'm more interested in the lifetime power train warranty listed on the windshield sticker.
