They said they weren't sure if I would need it unless the headlights were flexing so I don't think there's too much going on there.

So We're meeting up around 2pm! I'll be parking at the import section ( our usual spot) then walk over to octane raceway. On top of their specials, I still have a bunch of coupons BOGO race free with me that I can't use.

Most likely from where I am right now I might arrive a little past 2.

If you want to have the ability to have a licensed tuner tune your car you can purchase through a number of vendors. Two common ones are Visconti & FA20Club. I would recommend FA20Club personally for a cable & license. But you will still need to find a licensed tuner to adjust your ECU. Currently ECUTek does not allow users to re-tune their ecu's them selves and all ecu tunes are encrypted and un-readable to end users. You may want to look into BRZ Edit if you want to tune your own vehicle.
haha no my fault i ment i just want to get the vehicle license. i wouldnt know what to do for tuning it myself

Depends on the tuner. Visconti doesn't allow E85 & E10 on the same tune as you could easily accidentially put it into E10 mode while running E85 and lean out causing damage.

Just remember you will need to do data logging and send logs back a few times & refresh a few times before the tune is setup so you might need to borrow for 1-2 weeks.

Okay, I'll say it bluntly because other people who've been mentioning this subtly are being ignored...MULTIQUOTE!

True, if you use tapatalk on an iPhone, you can't multiquote, but everywhere else, it is possible.

Please, it makes things much easier to read.

Not 86 related, but I installed my boost gauge in my STi this morning and figured some of you FI fellas may be interested.

It's an electronic Depo Racing gauge, which I was skeptical about, but it's fairly accurate and incredibly responsive. No strange buzzing from the gears or waving needle. It's essentially a poor-man's Defi, uses similar stepper motors.

Compared to the 86, the firewall grommets in the STi are a tremendous PITA.

mspaint!

Open file, select resize -> select pixels -> type in a dimension that makes sense.
