You could totally put digital turbo gauges in those little screens above the knobs.

Don't get your hopes up. They might keep the dual climate control for the release series only. When they redesign the car they might add the dual climate control.

Maybe someone could just design a plug n play new digital face that would work with the original knobs and harness or something to that effect. Or wait until you source a wrecked 10 series and snag all the parts at a cheaper price than dealership prices.

I am waiting for my buddy Adam to get back into town. He is going to help extend the wires for the switches for the AC, Inner circulation and Rear defroster. I am planning on installing the switches in the bottom row of the dual unit. So, NO; I will not be selling my stock controls because I need them because of the chip board and it plugs into the harness.
We are also going to install the RED LEDs with sign cutouts in the back of the three windows that read: MODE (Left) SPEED (Middle) and TEMP (Right). Maybe when I get boost, I will change out the signs and use the windows for the gauge readings. Thanks for the huge amount of support and I will update, WITH 100% FINISHED UNIT, soon! |

good news is that it will be 100% DONE and I will be FINALLY installing the 5 switches for the AC, Rear defroster, and inner circulation this week!
The two extra switches will be to shut the amp off for the subs as for the last switch, I dont have any ideas for it right now. I may use the final switch to shut off the lights on the unit its self...because...well...its nice driving with all the lights on (outside the car) and just have the dash, head unit and clock on ![]() I will be posting pictures and a video some time next week to show the 100% conversion ![]() But really tho.....it will be EPIC and like nothing anybody has ever seen...I may make kits for this (or I could do an install) GET READY Last edited by AG3NT_5CARFAC3; 08-11-2013 at 12:28 AM. |

Honestly I think the engine start would be legit. But hey if you want to go another direction...100 shot of nos. just don't fry the position rings..race wars is only 2 weeks away!
![]() I'd love to do this swap if I had more spare cash. But the track this weekend just about wore off all tread on my tires lol. Well worth it though!

I have thought about a front mount. My deck came with a button to turn on my back up cam at will though. One of the best mods I've done since working in the city means I parallel park in tight spaces at least 2 times a day.

@lbroskee you from Coral Springs? I was born there and lived there for 5 years haha kind of a small place in Florida so I had to say that haha home of New Found Glory (the band) too
I do like the idea of controlling a switch for a camera; I think I will do that down the road. as for push start, Im not going to do that, just because I could put that money into something else. and because the car starts just fine haha :happy0180: |
