Leak down test? Is the turbo internally gated? Did you check the IC inlet for debris that may have gotten stock during shipping / manufacturing? I understand what your saying about the maf reading, but given the high fuel trims i assumed the maf scaling was stock. And based on the stock maf scale table it is fairly close to stock if not stock: 4.297v 167.6g/s 4.492v 194.4g/s Anyway, if the motor is sound, and the tuner is good, you might just need to turn up the boost and re tune. Might get a different tuner to re tune it as well and see how that goes.

If your only down 10 - 15 whp from what other are making with the same mods, same tuner, same dyno then i would not worry about it and just do more supporting mods (free up the exhaust) and re tune with a couple psi more boost if it will take it. If your down more than that then it's time to check the health of the internals and a leak down is probably the first step. Hard to say when spectating over the internet if you really are down on power or if people are just assuming you are etc etc.... Have the plugs ever been changed?

What you did wrong was spend any time using virtual dyno, the Subaru AWD crowd's favorite bragging tool.

BTW, you can use the XML 2forme made for virtual dyno car definition

No Clue lol... I do know a leak down is a better measure of health than a compression check as it will help spot issues with valves not fully seating etc.

i didn't read back through the whole thread, but you've run this on more than one dyno to confirm the numbers, right?

No different then changing the plugs. You disconnect the exhaust and motor mounts (there are some other things as well) and raise the engine up to get the spark plug holes above the frame rails. It really isn't that bad.

Coming from an engine where I could gap the plugs while watching TV, run out during a commerical & change them, and still be back inside before the show started again, that still seems pretty involved for a plug change. But it's certainly worth it.

FR-S with the Avo turbo just came in at 198 on the same dyno dynamics dyno. Only thing I can say is that I think my car is fine, just need to adjust expectations for CA gas and the inflated dynojet numbers.
