You might want to look in this subforum for a bit:

I apologize on behalf of the forum for the hazing, but since you're a local in Maryland, contact @Pure Automotive to help guide you on your journey to find the hidden torque in this car.

My suggestions for now:
1- K&N panel filter
2- Ecutek Tune (Visconti, FA20Club, etc)
3- Header (Revworks, JDL, Borla)
4- Overpipe
5- Frontpipe
6- Catback

PM me if you need any help with parts- I'm selling a FA20Club intake and a catback.

"low end toque" I find that a toke or two of high-end toque really provides a real apparent boost in torque. ETA: It's a joke about the toque (toke), get it? Apply low-end torque and jock-itch creme?

Creating torque via adding power is one way, such as a turbo, supercharger, etc.

However, from my experience of switching gear ratios in the rear end of a mustang from 3.27 to 4.10's made a huge difference in feeling. I felt more torque. As far as I know this doesn't create torque but it will allow your cars engine to rev much faster (getting into the torque/hp band), and can give perhaps the torque feel. This allowed me to burn out easier or spin the tires/drift easier. The car was faster because of this also, noticeably, I might add.

I heard these over-sized spoilers instantly increase torque and turn your car into a 10 second monster on the drag strip. As an added bonus the ladies will be all over you.

Is it just me or does that thing look like its on backwards? Maybe angled wrong too, like it would make lift, not downforce?

shortening the gear ratio will make it accelerate faster, but reduce your top end. that being said when are you really using the top end of a mustang? and no, it didn't affect the torque output of your engine at all, just allowed you to harness it faster.

Must do on this car. Good luck.
LOL, I should put a sticker on my tach that says "KEEP OUT" from 3-5k. Although, I should probably keep out above that too as evidently you can get knocking above 5k and damage your injectors...
