It's got nothing to do with respect, most of the stuff in the trunk IS about respect actually.
I had all my cleaning equipment, my work laptop and the laptop I use to flash the car with.
You have no idea what took place in that trunk so STFU..LOL

Trunk clear of anything unless I have to carry something from point a to point b. Paper towels for emergency and I live in Texas so I'm sure you can guess what else. All cover with a Toyota original armrest cover.

^truth... I've seen his trunk and He is OCD about his car. Everything is organized and it Includes a costco sized package of Microfiber towels, detailing spray and a ton of other goodies just in case.

We all treat our cars differently, but it doesn't mean we don't love them any more than you love yours.

There's a separate thread with Junk in the Trunk for those interested in it. Lots of good photos of what will fit in the 86, some serious, some not so serious.

As for the console, mine stays relatively empty except for a USB cable for charging and a USB plug in the outlet. I also have a pad in the cup holders to absorb sweat from the occasional cup or bottle.

Neat freak? That trunk mat could benefit from some quality time with the business end of a vacuum cleaner... (J/K, the junk box made me lol though)

Edit: For the OP... If my console had a lid, it would probably have some junk in it. Without the lid, I have to listen to anything/everything that's in it rattle and slide around...drives me nuts. I travel light and use the glovebox.

The only thing I keep in my car besides the Scion portfolio is a dry hobby paintbrush for dusting the trim. /jamesmay
