Cooling the battery pack? Rear brakes? I'm sure if I sat and thought for 5 more minutes I could come up with more probably reasons too. Just plain Form> Function??

Growing on me. So long as it follows the ISF in dynamics rather than the out-going SC.

Anyone else noticed the 8,000rpm redline? Very unusually high-revving considering it's a hybrid.

Holy Avatar gauge cluster Batman! I may not be a huge fan of the exterior styling (although now that I look at it a bit more it's much better than the LF-A) but the interior looks pretty badass. Hopefully you don't have to wear glasses in order to read your RPM and speed. "I'm sorry officer I have no idea how fast I was going, I left my 3D glasses at home".

I hoped that too then i read some where that it would fit in lower than the LF-A at around $125k and i said "Fudge that".

So you're also not in the financial position to purchase a rolling house? Me neither.

we don't know yet what the intended market segment will be for this car if it were to go into production (could be the A5, 3er coupe, C coupe/ or 6er, CL, Continental GT, etc.). i'm more than sure we'll hear from the Toyota guys talking about this car in interviews at the show next week dropping off tidbits of information on what, if any further intent for this car besides just being a styling exercise for the future of the Lexus brand. from these complete photos, i dig it.

Awesome! What ever it will be, Supra MkV, SC MkIII, IS-Coupé, GS-Coupé or anything else, I wish it makes it to production.

You mean Supra MkV? I think this will stay in Lexus' stable while FT-HS stay in Toyota's lineup serving its production form as Supra. I'm guessing though.

Thanks to F&F the damn Supra legacy starts at the Mk4. Godammit...

On a hybrid note, Toyota has officially stated that they will be running a hybrid in LeMans. It is based on the system that they used on the hybrid that won some Japanese 24h race a while back, which is completely different than the Prius system. So chances of this being a performance hybrid are strong.
