Mmmmm no more 2UR-GSE, interesting...wonder if this affects any other engines. Toyota's recent approach to more power has been up the displacement in every case, wonder what they'll cook up. In theory that 2GR should be able to rev quite a bit thanks to its 83mm stroke.

Maybe the engine for this and the M4 is what Toyota and BMW have been cooking up.

They aren't bring back the IS-F. This will be the RC-F. As the RC is going to be the coupe slated between the IS and GS. RC350, and RC-F have already been trademarked by Lexus/Toyota.

Another thing of note is if you check the photos, there is a GS (possible GS-F) sitting next to it, as it has the same quad exhausts as this RC-F prototype and current IS-F.

Also does it have stupid FR-S/BRZ USDM exhaust tips haha

Dang it looks so similar to the IS-F. As long as it has a quad exhaust, then i'm happy.

Look nice. I think they will grab some sales from the M line now.

If they get the engine right...It might get interesting, as I understand a main selling point of the M line was the monster engines that made beautiful noises. The new engines have low rev limiters and don't sound so nice now. If Toyota flips the table on them, that would be epic.

For those not familiar with Lexus news, there has been rumors/details circling for over a year about it being powered possibly by a V6TT as V8's are difficult to meet the Euro 6 standards.

There is plenty more scoop at Lexusenthusiast.com
