Nameless parts all fit in the same exact spots as stock so they'll work with any parts that also have stock fitments. Also, Nameless doesn't make a midpipe, which is what your axleback connects to.

So, lot of back and forth on EL vs UEL. I'd like to pull the trigger on header+exhaust this year, but was kind of sold on the UEL (for the sweet, sweet rumble). How much real/tangible difference am I looking at between EL vs UEL? No tune yet, but would likely do header, then over/mid, then exhaust, then tune.
I used to just do everything at the same time. But doing it all at once kinda takes the fun out of progression! |

This is what I did. Went header back exhaust, then headers, then tune. I went from back to front. I'd like to see/find out more on front to back... that is, headers, then progress backwards...

OP I have same concerns as you.
Currently I have the Perrin non res catback. I want to get headers but dont really want to buy the overpipe and front pipe yet. Just wondering if it would even be worth it. I was also wondering if my car would still pass emissions with the stock front pipe w/catalitic converter even if I have a custom non catted header? Technically the car will still have 1 catalytic converter. |

I just ordered the RevWorks uel header on Monday, and am looking into changing the front pipe and over pipe to the Nameless 2.5" front/over pipe combo (one piece instead of two, less welds/bends etc). I've *read* that it helps fill in that often-cited torque dip as well. So I think the uel header coupled with the Nameless unit would be a nice little bump in power (as stated, a tune is a must, if you want to get the most out of these products). I'm just waiting for parts to arrive and therefore can't verify any of my claims, so take them with a big old grain of salt ![]() As for emissions, I'm in NY as well (upstate). Another member posted recently that new NY vehicles aren't tested for emissions when you get your car inspected, (during the first 2 years, that is). I'll have to look into this, but that'd be great if true. |

Also, to add to my post: all those items are meant to align to stock fitments, which is always helpful

Taken from NY DMV page:
"These motor vehicles are exempt from the OBDII and low-enhanced emissions inspection: Vehicles that are less than two model years old (formula: model year is greater than or equal to calendar year minus one)." http://www.dmv.ny.gov/vehsafe.htm#einspect Last edited by snky_snky; 07-17-2013 at 02:44 PM. For what I mentioned, the RevWorks uel is $699, and the Nameless piece is $499 ( http://shop.namelessperformance.com/...aces-overpipe/ ). I've already had the SP Elite for a while, forgot what I paid. The Ecutek tune is the priciest part; $750 when all is said and done (through a local tuner). Lastly, I'm adding a drop-in filter while I'm at it (only ~ $50). The Nameless unit has a high-flow cat. I don't believe the OEM midpipe is catted, but it is at least resonated (in case you are concerned about exhaust rasp). I will be keeping the midpipe stock, most likely. .....side note: i'd love to hear a sound clip if someone has this same exhaust setup

Hey Buddy, let me know if you have any questions i can help answer about our header. It does bolt up to a stock overpipe without any issues as i know you had mentioned you were still on factory exhaust before the axleback.
