Car is looking great!
The ESM wheels and TOM'S LED tail lights make it beautiful, and especially with all the power to boot. Great job so far |

Update
I received my Wilwood front brake-pads. I got their BP-20 (Street) and BP-30 (Race) pads. I plan to run the BP-30s first to match the Carbotech XP-10s I'm installing in the rear. If they are too much, I'll go down to the BP-20s. ![]() Innovate Supercharger Install Begins NOW!! Updates to follow

Well call it a failure. I'm about 85-90% done. Tired of trying to figure out what the instructions could have provided, too many cuts, too many dropped bolts. It would help if I had mini hands. Anyways, I should have it up and running tomorrow, almost done.

Update:
The car is up and running, no issues or CEL. Inspected everything and took it out for a spin. Inspected again and went for another spin. According to my logs, I'm at 5.3 PSI of boost and my oil temps got to 210 with a few miles and a few pulls. So it looks like an oil cooler will be coming very soon! The install took a total of about 6 - 6.5hrs and wasn't a fun job. Like engine related work, just a lot of tight places where it's hard to thread bolts, etc. My advice is to work with a buddy. I did it alone and there are times you're frustrated and tired of trying the same thing over and over. If anything to just take a break. Driving Impressions: I'll have a more comprehensive update later but from my quick spins this car has really come to life. A lot of great low-end/mid range and a strong pull up top. It FEELS much quicker than the Vortech-charged BRZs I've driven but those were other peoples cars where I only took them for a quick spin. Not enough data to tell but it certainly feels quicker and pulls harder. It's about the performance I expected. Not quite as quick as my e46 M3 or 996 911 but not too far behind. If I had to take a guess, maybe a 13.6 in the quarter mile. Feels just a tad quicker than a stock FD RX7. I need to run up to Subaru and get the 2 tiny screws for my MAF sensor. I misplaced them when I installed the AEM intake (AEM provides new screws). Here are some pics: ![]() ![]() ![]()

As I mentioned in the Innovate owners thread, looks great! Careful driving around without screws in the MAF!

They look so clean in person. Oil Cooler is next for me, also want that clutch/flywheel/driveshaft set-up down the road. I'll probably wait to see if I'll go WMI or intercooled.

Update:
I ran by Subaru and ordered a couple parts (arrive Thursday). - Screws for the MAF sensor (it's not going anywhere but it needs to be screwed down) - The 3 bolts that hold the direct injector computer. I couldn't find them so I just zip tied in the interim. More Driving Impressions: It pulls very good in the mid range. I think really where the car needed the extra power. Down low there's still a slight hesitation but more power. More air is flowing because I can hear the exhaust a little more. Very well matched to the car, this car would be THE car if it came from the factory this way. It's not earth shattering power but very smooth/linear power that compliments the chassis well. I did't get there yet. I'll capture a longer log maybe tomorrow. It seems like the tune is pretty safe, I think it might handle more timing. I'll hopefully get it on the dyno next week.
