They are losing market share the more they wait. Just look at how many are already on ecutek thats 500-600 for each one of those people.

As was pointed out before, they pretty much don't support NA cars because the gains aren't impressive enough to generate sufficient sales to recoup the R&D costs.
Now if they put together a nice turbo kit that included an AP and a base map...

Used plenty. See no need for it and can limit ur tuning options.

Cobb just said on their facebook page that their Subaru team is working on the 2014 WRX currently and then they will reevaluate their offerings, but not likely.

Because EcuTek is, lets just say, not for me. Sure it may work for some people, but I have had nothing but issues with them and will never use them gain.

Brz edit is the best solution for individual users and tuners.
Yes thats why I am very skeptical with cobb. I had their access port when they were still working with the civic si. They did a price drop on their product to attract new users, but then 6 months later they axed all development and offered refunds for people who purchased.

It was a very good product, easy to re-flash on the fly and user friendly.
I just don't want to get left holding the bag again.

I'm a little surprised by their response that they're still not likely to do any development on the twins, especially with as many cars as Subaru plans on putting using the FA20 for in the future. Seems like they squandered a great opportunity to get ahead of the curve.
