Dec '12 build, no issues aside from the intermittent chirp (which doesn't have a "fix" yet anyway).

build 02/13, one month on my hands, 1K miles.
i don't thinks the recent ones are any better:
same crickets, same rear panel rattle, same flywheel chattering at low rmp, same clunking nose and grinding on shifting, rpm hunting with AC on idle (think it's due to low idling rpm so when compressor starts it really throw off the rpms)
funny how people mentioned only crickets assume that the rest is just a nature of a beast, but really, far from all manual tranny cars have such a great collection of annoyances. btw, ALL of these are just annoyances, I don't mind them that much even when people look at the car like it's rusted pos from a junk yard. my primary concern at this point is the real issue of blown injectors/engines which it seems we'll be seeing more and more

Look at the driver's side door jamb on the VIN label. Should be month/year of manufacture listed.

Feb 13 build.. Only some HPFP noise occasionally.. Many other noises people complain about I consider normal as I have had them in other sport cars.. Like the low rpm rattle from the flywheel/trans.. , injector noises.. With more miles many of the anomalies are disappearing.. The tranny no longer grinds in 2nd /3rd,
Shifting is smoother all around.
This may be the first sports car for many.. Being lightweight and lacking sound deadening materials.. Lots of mechanical noises come thru.. Many hear things that are normal in the cars operation.. But never experienced before by the owner.. So they prompt questions and concerns..
More driving, less worrying..

Pull the carpets up and put down some zillamat, helps lessen the road noise.

We had one of the hardest rains I have ever experienced since I moved here three years ago right at rush hour yesterday. It was like a monsoon for an hour and I drove/sat right through it. Checked all my lights and no condensation. Mar 2013 build date.

Glad to hear this. Taking delivery on mine this Saturday and the build date is either March or April 2013.
