I have tunes from a couple of the vendors mentioned in this thread and both have been great!
I think OP is entitled to his opinion, $1000 in tunes gives him that right and this is a public forum, deal with it.

What I'm reading here is OP got a resolution with his tune issues and great customer support to follow
Not ALL vendors nor tuners offer both

I'd agree that this entire thread is something that could have been kept to yourself. An appreciation thread for FBM would have been plenty...but to just call out 2 other well known tuners on this forum with ZERO background on their relationship/depth of aid given to you with this issue is complete nonsense.

Your entitled to your opinion and its your money, but a little class goes a long way, and OP showed none IMO.

Toni? Bad tuning Lmfao Ya ok.. First off you started this huge flame war by saying that fbm tuning is much better than fa20&visconti lol Toni is the last person that would tell you to deal with it on your own. Hes got strong tunes and as long as you send him datalogs he can give you better tunes... Just because someone else figured it out doesn't mean the others are bad.

Couldn't agree more. Disrespectful. And 1000$ in tunes? You mean 1000$ for liscense and cable and tunes....

I still think both tony and lj work wonders with this engine. I'd trust either of them with my ride. As for Visconti, he seems like he also has shit really dialed in but appears to be very busy. Idk if I would say anyone is better than the next guy, but all 3 are helping guys get more hp and that's A OK with me.

Glad your tune worked out, I would be frustrated with a turbo car that wouldn't start

While he may not have handled it the best, all you ever really see on the forum is a giant circle jerk for just about every shop or tuner. The reality is far from it, and in actually speaking with people, you start to hear the bad (I'm not directing this at any single individual/company). It is incredibly difficult for the uninformed, in turn, to become informed. A forum needs a little negativity sometimes.

this forum is not a public service provided for your entertainment or education. it is a business venture. money wins and the guys that pay the bills make the rules, to varying degrees.

It is a money-making venture that would not make much money if it was not entertaining or informative because then it would not have many members...and members attract vendors who keep the site afloat

the way i see it. the reason they could help most is bc u have their kit so they are going to know the setup better then any other tuner and have a better idea what to look for. just like Toni will b able to fix issues involving his kit then some1 over at AVO would.

In all essence, paying 1k for buggy tunes that are no longer used and not being refunded, some people can sleep at night but I certainly would not operate like that.

Anyway, the main thing to learn in this thread is what lj posted.
Looks like you missed this, although it was in between your various posts on the same page.

We have sold quite a few turbo kits for this platform and we provide full support for those who have purchased from us. All of our maps are free to our customers and we offer touch ups as well. The only time we charge for a tune, is when we need to get on the dyno and tailor the tune to the vehicle.

What upsets us the most is that our customers have told us about Vendors who sell E-tunes on this forum, have been PMing them and bashing our work to offer their services. We do not advertise tunes for anything other than ones for our kits and yes "FREE"

Will, messaged me and said "I need your help, the car has a vacuum leak and it is not the tune" Well... we are pretty familiar with this car, and at 600hp and 26psi, nothing came loose besides a couple of hoses so i knew this was not his case. Subaru didn't even offer enough vacuum ports to begin with ,so there really isn't much to look for.

We did not do this free just to stir some drama up. This is the service you get being a customer of ours and it has been that way since day one.

Why did you not go with the turbo kit manufacturer's tune in the first place?
