hello guys. hope everybody had a good 4th of july

i decided to keep the thread closed since people were still ordering and joining the GB was it was open.

then this thread popped up, so i think this would be a good thread for updates regarding the group buy.

well there is good news and development, even though VG is close, i am in contact with them and i asked them to send me new fins. the better news is that the new fins was re-designed to have a better fitment.

i am still confident that this GB can be successful like the other two GB. not giving up on this that easily

these will be delivered guaranteed.

from what i heard, VG has upgraded their machineries and all that's why they were closed for a period of time.

with that, production time will be better and quicker.

fin's will be better as well they said

That's good news, but did VG ever give you an exact estimate of when these products would be rolling off their production line? I know you have no control of these items, but businesses might also be lying to you by throwing around vague statements such as "better and quicker" without a definitive ETA time.

I, the consumer, hope to get this within July.. and I've ordered in May.

I, like the rest, may be a bit tired on the wait. We should get an expected date since this is an equipment manufacturer. This is not software and we should not get the "sometime soon" deal.

Please demand an eta, otherwise you have to let them know that they will lose money and customers.

I would like an update soon. This customer is beginning to get impatient with bad business answers...

Please help get us the answers we need.

Glad to hear. I'm sure the fear most of us have is our 70 dollars will vanish. Is there an ETA on when they will start shipping to us?

I was wondering if you can call them up and demand an ETA. This is not something that they can just say "sometime soon". If they do not give you a hard date, I would like my refund please.

Nothing bad on you, but I think it's bad doing business with manufacturers like that. Till this day we have not gotten a hard date on when this will be shipped out.

Please ask, and if there's no hard date that is satisfactory (considering the debauchery that is their business model) - I am amicably requesting for a refund here.

Some of you are so naive. For ALL we know this guy could have been sitting on the over $2,000 he received for months doing who knows what with it.

It also sounds like he's not able to get OUR money refunded which is absurd giving he supposedly paid over 4 months ago.

Who gets the run around about "paint being damaged in production", then it was supposedly shipped then "lost", and now there's this great "new production" with "better materials" for something you spent thousands on 4 months later only to be told they will ship at some point with NO estimated delivery and goes on like "meh no big deal" without demanding a REAL SOLUTION. This entire thing sounds suspicious like SHIT and I'm really starting to get pissed off. My patience is wearing thin...

I've filed for a refund with my bank. I've provided 4 pages of email conversation showing that my item has not yet shipped, as well as my unanswered request for a refund 3 times. My bank will take care of the rest.

As much as I wanted the Shark Fin, the hassle just isn't worth it. I've already received my Perrin 2" shorty antenna and honestly...no matter how cool a shark fin would've looked, I'm more than happy to send my money to Perrin knowing that I'm going to have a great business transaction. Shorty antenna doesn't look bad at all. Great alternative until a better Shark Fin comes out that's not a scam.

I think it's about time that I get in touch with my bank as well. I'm really sad that I was trying to be amicable but am not able to get through. I will deal with my bank and get my refund back.
