Looking for a specific tablet build...

Ok... I absolutely HATE to make a thread for this BUT I've searched and searched and CANNOT find this build anywhere.

I remember someone on here installing a tablet in their dash and driving the system with a single DIN headunit mounted down near the shifter where that little cubby hole is.

That's not the one I'm looking for. That one is cake to find.

There was someone else installing a tablet and locating a single dine HU at the bottom of the center console near the shifter.

Look at post # 14 and 22, I dont think he has a dedicated thread for his tablet build.
My approach to a nexus 7 in dash would be to get audio from the usb port which runs to a Digital to Audio converter that has its own volume knob and can fit in the bottom storage compartment near the push to start button. DAC should run to an amp which goes to speakers, that way you dont lose audio quality by using the tablet as the audio source.
