Just got a dealer update on my car, the allocation order was placed on the 1st of july and was originally 8 to 10 weeks till i got the car, but the dealer already has my VIN number and the car is gonna be at port in LA tomorrow and will be at dealer at end of month. They said on these 10 series they dont like to wait to get em out to the customers so i really only got 3.5 weeks now to wait. Its gonna be the longest wait of my life!!!

Only 3.5 weeks... I've been waiting for mine since May

Why would they wait til July 1st to make an allocation order. These things were suppose to go on sale/delivered to some customers on June 10th. Pre-orders were being done way before this, mine was on April 28th, and I know for a fact there are others on here who ordered way before that.

"They said on these 10 series they dont like to wait to get em out to the customers" - HAHAHA that gave me a big laugh. We've been doing nothing but waiting, as they've encountered delay after delay, not to mention all the false delivery dates given to many members. They ordered a stop-sale within the first week of sale because they messed up on the monroney labels.

Scion/Toyota really messed this one up, and they are taking advantage of us knowing we would wait for this damn thing. Any other vehicle, and we'd be long gone and purchasing another vehicle from a different brand.

well i didnt place my order till june 28th and it is was made as a sold bid, which helps with the delivery time, but the dealer said they were goin to place the allocation order on the 1st of july so idk why it turned to 3.5 weeks, but it doesnt bother me one bit, the sooner i get it the better.

has anyone tried installing a backup camera to the new 2014 headunit. Does it work the same as the 2013?

None of this is my dealer's fault. We know most of the story. Today I'm told the rest is that the Port of Portland had layoffs post-Japan earthquake/tsunami that has drastically slowed production as imports ramp up again, but not hiring. PIO's, staging and shipping are all far behind former average times. Apparently it's affected all JDM built Scions, Toyotas and Lexus vehicles.

I feel your pain! Mine was at the port for 18 days before it got to the dealer.

I'm sure it will get sorted soon, and you will have all your options installed right off the bat.

Still waiting for my fog light parts to come in...
