Just got an update that my car is at port and my bespoke and fogs are installed. I guess that means I should have it this week sometime.

So after sitting in the dark for almost 2 months, I was told the ETA is July 29th on my 10 Series. Anyone else given a date around the end of July?

Thanks for that. I was on Annacis Island on May of 2012 to pick up my GT-Four and saw a new beautiful WRB BRZ in the lot so I thought that was where the FR-S was landing also instead of the Fraser Wharves.

Love that blue car

It stands shorter so it requires a tad more effort to shift; a pseudo-short shifter. But its squat, meatier grip matches the car's character better than the generic stock shift knob which appears to also be used in Subaru's more luxury than sport focused sedans/wagons. I wasn't havin' that lol.

A few weeks into driving with the TRD shift knob, I noticed the feel of its squat, fat girth in the right hand mismatched the skinny stock steering wheel in the left hand (stock wheel matches stock knob well, though). The TRD steering wheel is a better complement with thicker girth and smaller 360mm circumference vs. stock 365mm. But it's uncomfortable to grip if your hand holds it stationary for a long stretch of time (such as on long drives).

Overall, the TRD wheel and knob combo sacrifices some comfort to enhance this car's fun-to-drive character.

Hello, first time poster here, long time lurker(been following this thread since post 1). I'm due to get my 10 Series FR-S any day now, last I heard it's at the port waiting for the port installed fogs to get put on; long story short I have a simple question:

Has anyone figured out if the LED DRLs can be turned on with the lowbeams at reduced intensity via techstream yet??

If this option can be turned on that would literally make this car PERFECT to me....

Mine is sitting at port too! The fogs and Bespoke are already installed and I am just waiting on it to be shipped to the dealer. I bet they came in on the same ship since we are both in VA. We may be the first to get them in this state.

how does the dash panel illuminate? Is it by a light source on the headliner like a projector or inside the panel. If it is inside this this might explain why 10 series gets an exclusive interior carbon trim similar to the other 10 series models because it doesn't work with the standard Tshape carbon fiber

It is inside the dash panel, and shows through the panel. It is otherwise undetectable.

Here is pages 2 and 3 from the documentation provided:

Page 1 just shows the location of the switch disable it:

Just encountered one in Diamond Bar, CA earlier in the afternoon. Even got to talk to the owner (looked real young), but he didn't seem very enthusiastic about talking about it much even after I told him I had a BRZ. Maybe because I wasn't driving it? lol

Headlights looked pretty dope tho.

I am in Norfolk. I can't wait to get behind the wheel hopefully this week. I already have 2 road trips planned to get those break in miles clocked as soon as possible.
