So i guess i don't understand:

K. Limited Slip Differentials
STC, STS, STF – No limited slip differentials are permitted except for
factory standard viscous coupler type units.

when did a torsen become better than a mechanical LSD??

Its not better.. and be be upgraded as per the rules.. to a Clutch type.. since it is a torsion, its better than the Viscous coupler type.. thats why its not allowed in STS/STC or STF.. I know of some members thats upgraded to the OSGiken...which is a full Clutchtype.. me personally am trying to finds the fundage for a Guard Transmission Diff which I think will be the ultimate.. @MattMonson

Some headers require fans or coolant reservoirs to be moved...looks like that puts you into SP which i think is pretty dumb on a modern car.

Yes I answered my own question.

So the Packwood National tour is next week and I am planning on running. However, I have added a few things and I want to insure I am within the rules but they are at times hard for me to follow.

Would someone be so kind to let me know if I fall in the rules for STX

Mods I think I am within Rules on:
Perrin ECUTek Tune
Perrin CAI
Perrin Oil Cooler
Perrin 3" Cat Back Exhaust (w/hangers)
Perrin 2.5" Down Pipe / Mid Pipe
Perrin Front and Rear Sway
Perrin Front / Rear Endlinks
Perrin Streeting Rack Bushings
Perrin Motor Mounts (Not Solid)
H&R Sport Springs
Whiteline Strut Tower Bar
Whiteline Front Camber Bolts

Where I have questions:
Perrin Front Control Arm Brace (2 Points)
Whiteline Rear Sway Brace (2 Points)
HT Autos Front Lip (STI Rep) - Removable if needed to be on the safe side.

Thanks in advance!

Perrin Oil Cooler... not legal..sorry...I assume you are running STX.. Everything else seems ok. I would have to see the motor mounts to ensure legality there... not familiar with Perrin's mounts. I am running Cusco ones in mine.

Quote:
Any engine or transmission mount is allowed provided it attaches
only to the original mounting points, does not relocate the engine/
transmission (other than incidental to changes in compliance material),
and weighs no less than the OE mount. All components between
the engine/transmission and the mounting structure are considered
to be part of the mount assembly.

Those Perrin front control arm braces and the Whiteline rear sway braces are not legal for STX.

Yeah. Debating R-Comps @$1100 or another set of Z2s @$850...R-comps are supposed to last 40-70 runs, my Z2s have 170ish and aren't dead, yet.

So here is a setup question:

Couple of bolt on's, stock suspension other than the Strano 22mm front bar, running on 225 ZII's on stock rims, in STX and am modding up slowly.

After installing the Strano bar I have loved it, really did a great job of combating the oversteer. I have found now that on some of the tighter courses I am running into too much understeer on the sweepers where I can carry some speed. I have played with tire pressures a bit, and still cant quite find something that I love, though something around 36 square has been good so far.

I thought about picking up the Perrin 16mm rear bar and running it on the softest setting (a 30% stiffness difference from stock) to try to dial back a bit of the understeer. What do you guys think? Good idea? Bad idea?
