What's your problem? You described storing electricity when it's cheaper and the demand is reduced and I gave a simple example to indicate I got the point.

It appears i may have reached the limits of a NA tune, going WOT at VERY low RPM's causes (P0108 - MAP Pressure Circuit High Input).

It seems the map i am running may know that 4.6psi is not what it is suppose to see.

Base intake temp: fairly stable 81F.

Several low rpm 3.5- 3.8 psi pulls, peak 132 F

Several high rpm pulls 1.25 - 2 psi, peak 104 F


Ambient 65F.

Vehicle: 2012 4.3L V6

Device: small LCD temp display (~0.5 second rate).

Fenton's will be the same.

Good point. You could actually also produce ice (at low power demand) for an intake-air-cooler which you would then only use at full throttle (denser air and more aggressive timing).
These guys were able to almost double the torque with a cold intercooler:

If these take off like I hope they do, I might have to throw one on everything with an engine and alternator. I'd be pumped to see 5psi till redline. Wish I had a MAP, ESC, and motor laying around. Might get bored and tinker till the FRS specific kits are production ready.

Note: This is just comparing output, stands to reason with the base being similar...so are the gains.

Of course, again, this system behaves more like nitrous with a refill function. But it is overall far simpler.
