I was just curious what cleaning supplies do you guys use for you car? I want to get that shine and make it look brand new? What car soap/material you think is best?

Step 1: Wash car very very clean with 2 bucket method and park inside
Step 2: Clay Bar
Step 3: Power Polish if you have swirls (skip if you don't know how)
Step 4: Get a good or decent wax. Turtle wax ICE comes to mind. If money aint a problem, swissvax, p21s would be good.

Always repeat step 1
Repeat 1-4 every 6 months

Machine wash (a particular company that uses cloth instead of brushes)
Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Detailer
Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax
3M cleaning foam for the glass parts

Polish every 6 months on this car? Have you seen how thin this paint is?

This isn't a German car where you can take those risks.

do the perfect wash with a 2 bucket method...

i use Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax in the end.. gives it that nice deep shine and also reflects water very good

clay bar is a must.. foam gun/pressure washer is great and also saves water..

*notice the "if you have swirls" comment and "skip if you dont know what you are doing". If you are using the two bucket method with a proper washing technique. Swirls wont show up for years.

If you know what you are doing, you will use a very gentle pad with a gentle polish only when necessary and understand paint thickness. If you are serious about polishing, you will have a thickness gauge.

Three Bucket wash every weekend. Gold Carnuba wax monthly. Clay bar every 6 months. Windows carpet etc with every wash. #obsessed

Go to a body shop, ask for any body panels they are throwing out. Practice on those body panels, learn how it feels to burn through the paint as well. Or just go to a junk yard...

-two bucket method using meguiars
-clay bar with meguiars ultimate quick detailer
-meguiars ultimate polish
-meguiars ultimate liquid wax

Occasionally I will hit bird poop etching with meguiars scratch x 2.0

I will then finish with a beer and sulk about newly found rock chips.
