"Brembo" brakes

I hope it wasn't any of you, but I saw an FR-S with a Brembo sticker on the back window and as I walk by I go to look for the Brembo Calipers but instead I see a really bad spraypaint job where they painted the stock calipers red. It looked like they didnt even take the caliper off to paint it lol the sides were still black!

I'm going to use whiteout and write Brembo after I spraypaint mine with walmart paint. Saves money!

On a serious note, they need to go big or go home. :P

Would have been better if they sprayed the caliber when the rim was still on. I HAVE SEEN IT FOLKS!

I've always said the only color you should paint stock, 2 piece calipers is black. Hide it or leave it alone.

Still, not as bad as the lime green drums I saw on an old Altima.

Oh, there's a Silverado around here with some lime green drums... I'll get a pic.

Wasn't me, but I have painted calipers. They're complimenting when done properly, and doing it is really no different than wrapping some random piece in horrendous carbon fiber. There are people who will swear that painted calipers are tacky, yet think an entire Plasti-Dipped car is awesome somehow. Go figure.

I certainly would not advertise them with a sticker as something they aren't. But until I'm ready to essentially waste that kind of money on a brake upgrade that will never get used because I don't track my cars, paint is fine.

I think OP took exception to the Bad paint job, incomplete and sticker.

I don't see why a GOOD paint job, with proper high temp paint and covering all areas is not tasteful.

I can't stand red brembo's.

Gold and/or silver/white looks the best in my opinion. So much classier looking.
