I lost to an SUV with SS logos on it. Still trying to figure out if it was a mid size blazer with an SS package. It was lowered and it was embarassing.

I need a damn turbo.... Made me wish I was in my '02 SS.

and yes, most Mustang drivers are douchebags and that's the one car I want to make my FR-S faster than with a stage 2 turbo. I hate Ford's (Except maybe the F150 which is the only good Ford). Smoking a Cobra will be a great feeling.

You should not be embarrassed by that. Those SS Trailblazers have a Corvettte V8 engine that make about 400hp and 400ft lbs torque. Even though it is an SUV, they are really fast. Pretty sure it could take a V6 Mustang and V6 Camaro.

I initiated a little race today. A guy with his lady friend was cut off by a merging semi. The gen coupe then thought it was a good idea to brake check the semi doing 75mph on the highway. The semi swerved barely missing the coupe. The gen coupe continued to mess with the semi so I pulled up next to him rolled down my Window gave him the bird and made a comment about his girls rather large chest. I down shifted and took off so he would mess with me instead of the semi. A few more innapropriate comments were said about his lady friend before he gave up and took off down the road.

I've found the RX-8 crowd like to run up on my ass, and fly by any chance they get. Seems strange since the two cars suffer from the same criticisms (lack of power).

Yep I was a complete ass to that guy and I don't even care. If it stopped him from causing a semi to crash then I have no problem being a asshole.

Edit: yes I could have just called the police and the truck driver obviously did because a few min later 3 cop cars went screaming down the highway. I have a cdl license and many close friends that still drive tractor trailor for a living. We take it personal when someone messes with a 40 ton semi full of gasoline.

Actually most Mustang drivers I have encountered are pretty cool.. Granted most of them are over the age of 50, but still cool

Yeah when I had my mustang I went to a meet and I was deffinitly the youngest with most of them well into social security age. They were a really nice group of guys but I didn't have my mustang long enough to really get to know them.

Around these parts most Mustang drivers have wife beaters, gold chains, and bright orange lensed sun glasses.

Yeah, here in Minnesota I tend to see older guys driving Mustang's and older women driving Camaro's. Perhaps the retro styling?

I can't say many people have tried to race me, but people get frustrated with how "slow'" i'm driving often times, and cut me off. I'm talking about i'm going around 70-75, close to 80 at times in a 65 in the carpool lane and people cross double-double yellows to "pass me". I guess the car looks faster than it is and it kinda suffers from that. No matter to me, I just look at mpg's, lol...

on the otherhand, when I'm in GTR, I get cut off and revved at by every maserati, jaguar and porsche, specifically. I have to say, money doesn't buy brains, because a lot of these guys don't know about driving their car. I've had people lock up their brakes trying to "egg me on" and almost crash in their lane.

On my way back from Scion To SEMA last year, in my FRS. These guys in a Ford SUV (late 90s expedition by the looks of it) literally rolled their car behind / next to me because they were swerving in and out of traffic. The traffic ahead was stopped and it was around a blind curve. I always give myself enough room to brake (and not hit the car in front of me), but I know if I hit the brakes, to modulate, and account for a possible rear-end impact. I see him lock up in the rear view and hear the tires skidding. It was like a movie. I had to keep going forward so he wouldn't land on top of me and my passenger... and I had to keep my distance either by moving up or onto the left shoulder. He swerves into the lane to the right of us. It's already backed up and cars are coming in hot also, so he swerves back into my lane behind me. Car basically "feints" a weight transfer and BOOM, I see arms of the whole family flailing in / out of the now shattered windows. Some of them didn't look restrained properly. And the SUV rolls like 4-5 times getting closer n closer to me... I keep on the gas / brakes just enough to keep the FRS in front of it but not hit the now dead-stopped traffic in front of me (who have no idea this is happening). I've done the drive into LA from Vegas a lot so I know this turn is pretty scary for a noob. Finally the car crashes down, right side up, and I pull over, along with about 5-6 other cars. I wait in my car and call 9-1-1 (busy signal... this is like the 4th time in my life I've called 9-1-1, and it's been busy every time) and people closer to their car go to check on them... and strangely, I thought I saw the driver get out and run away? (this was debated between me and my gf... but this all happened like in 40 seconds). Anyways... I think it's good driving to check your rear view and be safe guys... our cars aren't fast, but they handle and brake better than 80% of the cars out there... this CAN be a safety feature for us... but with the wrong person following you / egging you on... it can also be deadly.
