It's not an electric turbo. There's no such thing. Electric supercharger at best.

I was reading through and I might have missed it but is there any concern on dependability of the product. Just thinking about things like corrosion of the connectors and what happens if it gets wet. I really like the idea and I am really liking the results but I am only concerned at how it will stand up over time compared to more traditional forced induction options.

The CEL is just that, a canned tune from BRZ edit is probably going to give everyone the piece of mind that you should have with a new car. And the cost of that is not high at all. Any-ways if we can prove it out with a MAP clamp or something for those people that want a buy and drive experience im all for trying

Heat testing! Couldn't trip the thermals on the unit so that's good! I think the new spot we picked for the control box is a winner.
I dunno I think I'm starting to miss my torque dip lol Not! Pulls really hard at the bottom. [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbYcoEjiZwA&feature=youtube_gdata_player"]Frs brz electric supercharger - 2nd gear in 36C - YouTube[/ame] Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 2 |

I was speaking to the Toyota dealer about this. He said barring anything that they was felt outrageous or dangerous to the engine, the install would be warrantied IF THEY DID THE INSTALL. NOTE: Your mileage may vary, as well as your dealer. Without having seen it, he made no guaranties about the guarantee! This is cool, and I want one. Think of the rebadge opportunity, for those with the Scion Insecurity Disease. Having a car running partially on batteries, you could rebadge your car as a Prius, or stick a hybrid badge on it. I could haul ass around Portland producing supercharged hydrocarbons with my nose in the air like most other Pruis-driving a-holes. |
