I think the Dealership F'd up on pricing my FR-S. I had this kit installed on my car at the time of purchase already. Looked EVERYWHERE before & after my purchase & no where did it state the dealer/factory installed option for the OEM + audio system. The only price difference I saw between my FRS and all the other FRS on the lot was +$200. WIN

Alright I found a video of it playing. It sounds like the tweeters are less gussy but still has decent bass. It's a sure thing for this now.

Tbh I feel like the tweeters with amp shine more than the woofer. When I took them off for repair then difference was ridiculous.

I took off my tweaters for a repair and put back on my stock tweaters and the audio output suddenly felt extremely poor (or stock) which made me realize just how much the tweater+amp combo actually did. The OEM Audio+ tweaters felt like it made a world of difference in quality and range of sounds. Felt like the amp was only made for their specific tweater, or the stock tweaters are just that crappy.

The current one is the 400 series. I just got a text back from them saying they will have an update mid july of the reference series.
You can buy the current one then just pay the difference for the new version. Its the same pruce either way. Sent from a hamburger |

400 has 1 amp, 1 dsp amp, tweeters and sub. Reference series has that plus replaces the remaining stock speakers plus the dsp is recalibrated I believe for new setup

Sounds like a lot more work also to rewire all other speakers.
