I'm new to Kingston, moved here in March so I've only driven Bedford Rd/Desert Lake Rd. Not in an FR-S though, delivery is this week but because I need to go on a business trip I won't have it on the road until July 13. Don't want to leave it parked at work. This cruise will be a nice way to break-in the new car.

I'd have to take a look at some of the maps from my biking days, but most of the roads I have done multiple times are a little West of where you'd want to be, going from Ottawa to Kingston. Off the top of my head, 511 south to Perth is nice. Good pavement and some twisty sections. County Rd 10 (a.k.a. Perth rd/Division St.) from Perth to Kingston is a nice drive, but not overly twisty. This is Paul's baby though, and I don't want to step on his toes. I will make a suggestion though...if the return trip is going up Hwy 38, don't miss the opportunity to drive Desert Lake Rd. That is one twisty ribbon of asphalt. I find it flows better going from North to South (starting at Verona) but it is plenty entertaining either way.

Desert lake Rd is a hoot...I just wish it was longer like Hwy 509. I don't remember Bedford Rd. I'll have to look it up.

Edit: Hmm... Is Bedford the name for Desert Lake at the Southern end? Some of the County roads around there and Westport are good as well.

you car will be in C class as a base + all the mods you have which will add points when you go through the self check sheet.

i would recommend going to this thread first and requesting a number then you will have it to put on your registration form. http://www.mco.org/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=15248 el torpedo is usually pretty quick in getting back to you with reserving your number and adding you to the list.

@86gt? hopefully you get to make the next event also and hopefully the weather cooperate a little better! Its allot nicer to marshal with dry feet! i also picked up a Tupperware container for all my autocross prep stuff so next time i will be all prepared....

if anyone else is interested in coming and has any questions feel free to pm me and ask!
Wish I could but its my buddy's dirty thirty and I have a feeling fireball and auto cross would be a bad mix! Lol

So I drove to the ups store to pick up my supercharger that only took 3 months to come in "5-10" business days my ass... And I'm pretty sure there a few key elements missing!? Lol

Thanks for the tire rack suggestion though, all 8 of our tires were waiting for us within 48 hours!

Sorry, can't make it for the Kingston cruise. I'll be at Mosport (CTMP) watching the ALMS races that weekend.

If anyone else is heading to Mosport for that weekend, shoot me an email!

Definately missing a larger box for sure. You know the one that has the other 90% of the system in it. LOL. Sorry for the screw up. Think of it as Christmas over a prolonged period. HAIL WATCH IN OTTAWA AGAIN TODAY. Broke every speed law yesterday to get home before it hit Barrhaven.

Looks like I can't make it to Kingston July 20.
Could be Cruise of the year.
Left work at noon today to beat the weather.

Made another visit downtown a couple of Saturdays ago.
Got some decent photos until I was escorted off city property.
Continued to Scotiabank for some autocross, only to
see about 1000 trailers in the parking lot.
I'll check the schedule next time.

My new exhaust should be here by Friday. Hope
they came install it quickly!!
