If someone is good they can shop a Innovative vs one of our runs too, it is going to be DAMN close.

Given the current equation, half a pound at redline is going to be worth about 20 hp. Its honestly hard to believe but its the damn truth at this point without the Parastic-loss.

Anyways, here is a fun one, we know we are down up top but give us some more engineering time and maybe, maybe we start getting close.

And for interest:

Where the torque curves meet, 5400 rpm, the Centri is driving 4.6 psi vs. the FTS 2.7 psi. Same wheel output, with significantly less energy to do so.

I could be wrong, but wasn't 1400$ to 1650$ on the website for a kit.. I'm assuming and that's ass-u-meing all the kits are the same or very close to the same .. So unless he started price gouging because of the great gains.. I'd think it's around the same correct?? Or at least with in a few hundred $$

I personally would like to see a kit that delivers over 200 on any dyno anywhere on a stock FRS. I think Rob is looking into options to get there. He has a new improved cnc impeller in the works and I think some battery and controller options.... depends on what they decide, I can still see it being just a touch more than the above.

Fingers crossed. We are talking very close to innovate stage 1 performance for damn near half the cost. He is already there with torque output. And a literally 20 minute install.

Also noticed that output kept increasing while the batteries came upto temperature. First pull was about 194. Then about 196. Then a few at 198. I think that is why Rob told me the batteries should be in the engine bay.

Ya half the innovative price is being thrown around a lot. I think that is what he is shooting for.

He really wants to beat their stage one numbers and I think we are well on our way with the new revisions! :-)

Was supposed to meet up with Fenton today to do a base run between us but couldnt, that should give everyone a good idea as to how the extra power puts out.

hopefully soon!!!

Congrats, super interesting solution!

I was wondering if there was any lag to the system? If the system only turns on at WOT, what is the responsiveness like?

Well we have it setup on a WOT switch, as soon as you hit the WOT switch it turns on full power, its NOTHING like a turbo. The only time involved is from you going to the floor, hear the click and within .25 seconds your full boost.

Just look at the dyno's, thats exactly how it kicks on essentially, torque goes straight up

I'd think something to ease it in to operation would be easier to tune, easier on the engine, easier on the motor, and easier to drive. There's just so many possibilities here, if a plug and play EBC can be produced, why not a plug and play controller that is run by the ECU? I realize that's alot more complicated and more money, it's just awesome to dream about where this technology can go in the near future.

I don't see an EBC being feasible with an electric motor. They spool up fast, but not THAT fast. An EBC would have to control the ESC directly. It would probably be some tricky math so a computer would have to get involved. I could be wrong.

Im really liking this whole build..i honestly think its worth the money...yea i know its not a sc or tc but for those that dd and want to eliminate torque dip its a percect solution. And if something does go around its 1 2 3 to remove and return back to stock

This concept made me wish I had an engineering background. I might have to break out the ole' Arduino and fiddle with some things.

Can't ECUtek handle an analog output based on a 2-parameter table?

The analog output could be fed to some controller, calibrated such that it properly controls the power of the electric motor.
