Pic is deceiving, FD is quite a bit smaller, really. 95.5" wheelbase vs. C6 105.7", more than 10" longer! That's huge. Overall length, 168.5" vs. 174.6", C6 is 4" longer. Not as big a difference, but not anything like as critical as wheelbase in terms of how a car feels. Width, 68.9" vs. 72.6", C6 is quite a bit wider. Same height, though!

I wasn't a fan of moving the transmission to just in front of the differential when the C5 came out. This shoved the rear wheels aft a huge amount, and more than negated any supposed weight distribution benefit. C6 was a major improvement in the exterior looks department over the C5, but I still like the C4's proportions better. Its wheelbase was barely longer than the FD RX-7's.
