There is way too much misinformation in this thread. Can a moderator just delete this thread? If you want 300 whp on 93 octane then you can throw out the supercharger kits immediately. I think all of the turbo kits currently out are more than capable of hitting that number and with different turbos and at different price points.

"Most power out of the box" seems like you're just chasing a WHP number on a piece of paper and throwing aside whether or not that power level is had at a usable RPM. Pipe dreams.
I know that I will need tires and clutch but were not talking about that. We are talking about what has the most hp on paper out of the box. I dont understand why u guys try to over do it. This is not my first turbo car. I know what is in the future for a turbo car on a stock clutch. I had a boosted msp a boosted civic si. So im sure I know all about the tire issues. Y cant u guys just answer the question its not hard.

Those are all nice to have, but not 'required'. I'm running 7.5psi on a gtx2867r on an otherwise completely stock car (exhaust, clutch and all) and its runs and performs beautifully. Ill have to upgrade the clutch to up the boost any further, but to say that a clutch, much less a full exhaust is 'required' is just forum talk.

edit: note that i am running upgraded injectors. stock fuel pump for now. forgot about that. that is the only modification made other than the turbo kit and the map flash.

That is flywheel hp. Just like Subaru says 200 on 93 octane, but in reality it dynos at 140 to 160 whp. There are MANY members on this site with the Vortech kit running 93 octane, and none of them are anywhere close to 300 whp.

Since you are in Wisconsin, Full Blown Motorsports. Go see LJ @FullBlown in Minneapolis/St. Paul and he will get you the most HP out of the box.

If we are talking about simplicity then vortech would hands down be the easiest install to gain hp.

Any two kits that use the same turbo are going to make similar power. You need to determine what size turbo you want based on power goals, then pick the kit you like the most that uses that turbo. Most kits use garrett gt/gtx28r. It's good for the 300-450whp range depending on fuel. Who made the kit is far less important than the components used in terms of power potential. Base your buying decision on component quality, price, etc.

From a purely simple installation perspective, Innovate takes the cake. Vortech and HKS would be next. Turbos thereafter.

Since OP brought up Vortech, with the injectors, smaller pulley, and E85 350+ whp should be easy (there's a dyno of one hitting 365 floating around here). In stage 1 form and regular pumpgas, you're looking at around 250 whp.

If you want to stay with pumpgas and you are targeting 300 whp, then you'll have to go to one of the turbo kits.
