forced induction noob question.

So ive been doing research...and so far I came up with vortec sc being the highest hp gain out of the box plug n play. If im wrong plz lmk. Ive been on all of the vendors posts and it looks like vortec has the most hp gain and it comes with a fmic ecutec and fuel injectors all for around 5k. Is that the best deal assuming I dont feel like giving her more power down the line. And this is just for dd and once in a while track.

PLEASE STOP MENTIONING THE TIRES AND CLUTCH ISSUES. THIS IS NOT MY FIRST AFTERMARKET FI CAR. ITS A SIMPLE NOOB QUESTION. WHO HAS THE MOST HP ON PAPER OUT OF THE BOX. PLEASE DONT OVER DO YOUR ANSWERS. I TRIED FINDING ALL OF THE INFO MYSELF BUT ITS HARD TO KEEP UP WITH UPDATES. THATS Y IM ASKING YOU GUYS. I DONT NEED SMARTY PANTS WRITING ME A PARAGRAPH BOUT TIRES AND CLUTCH.

WTF dude, where are you looking?
Vortech has the lowest power. I think FA20club turbo got close to 300whp with only 5psi. and I believe FBM turbo kit made liks 400whp in stage 1. I haven't follow them constantly but you need to do a LOT for research.
you can have turbo kits for as low as $3,500, superchargers start at $3,600 (innovate) i believe Vortech is the most expensive of all options.
Do you want supercharger or Turbo charger?

Here's our soon to be released turbo system with an out of the box 6.2psi spring pressure tune. The 297 hp that you're seeing with the SC is estimated crank hp and not wheel hp. If we were to calculate crank hp, we would be at 372 crank hp and still on 93 pump gas as well.

On 93 pump gas with WMI, we have made 400whp, which again is about 500 crank hp. When we get around to doing our E85 tune, we're expecting another 50-100whp on top of the 400whp.

Most power "out of the box" is a somewhat ambiguous goal. We could, for instance, release a turbo kit that is calibrated for 350whp out of the box, but to actually make use of that, you would need to also purchase larger injectors, a larger fuel pump, a clutch/pressure plate, and exhaust system. Stock tires wouldn't take that power (for long) either. Standard brakes and suspension would also struggle to keep up.

It sounds like you have a budget goal in mind more than anything else. I'd concentrate on being realistic within that. Besides the forced induction kit itself, what can your budget also cover to support the kit?

Fbm kit comes with all of that and the dyno says 280.

FBM's kit does not come with a new clutch and pressure plate (REQUIRED at that power level), they also don't give you tires, as you will find that those Michelin tires don't hold much traction. In addition you are not provided an exhaust with the kit, which you'll want to have. So tack on about another $2,000 (being conservative on pricing and assuming you can install a clutch on your own) to get you where you need to be.

"Most power out of the box" seems like you're just chasing a WHP number on a piece of paper and throwing aside whether or not that power level is had at a usable RPM. Pipe dreams.
