That is surprising because I just got a quote from the dealer for the headlights yesterday. Granted more expensive then ordering from Japan but they said they would get them for me.

sent from a Galaxy SIII...

I know dealers have been getting the price, but the thing is to ask them to actually place the order. When they call toyota they will be asked for the vin.

as an example ... this piece below has a special part # for the series 10 because it comes with the auto level hid lamps... the only difference is the little illustration, but to order it i need to a vin and reg to submit to toyota to get it

So, are we getting closer to confirming that FRS RS parts will not be available for our current FRS? If so, time to stop wasting my time looking into this and just boosting the damn thing.

This has been the way with most of Scion's RS parts for the last few years, namely with the tC wheels on the black TRD themed one a few years back, the black wheels on "Zeus", the DAMD body kit pieces and center exhausts, and the smaller items that stand out.

Keep the exclusivity, basically.

Wow looking at this kit, it's awful. I'm now convinced that Ishii motors had the better kit, even if it's unofficial. It looks more OEM than the OEM one that is shown here. Who designed this??? Scion USA? Because this is really a horrible add-on. I was expecting a new stalk instead. Time to order from ishii motors.

Honestly I have seen conflicting answers. So far I actually called toyota to try and place an order for headlights just to see what would happen. I was asked to provide the customers info and vin and whatnot. Some people have said other dealers have said no problem. I would wait and see one cars start hitting owners hands.

Also just as a side note, from what we've seen, price is just about the same for headlights as the JDM or Euro ones. And still no confirmation on what and if the push start will work on non equipped cars.

I don't know, I will be posting the full 16 pg install manual today so everyone can see what exactly comes with the kit.

I am cool with the USDM HIDs being the same price as the JDM. Just hope it is a direct plug n play. Thanks for checking on that for us
