Just FYI, one of the 2008 WRX guys running these had issues with the outer bolts he received stripping their threads when trying to torque them down to the recommended TQ. SPC was sending him another set of bolts and nuts and thought the lock nuts they originally sent out were bad.

SPC will stand behind the part. Both arms are reasonably priced options for rear camber adjustment.

I did some mountain-carving-torture-testing of the "old" aka WRX style control arms today. I have no more doubts about them. I'm glad I bought them opposed to dealing with bushings that would have been the same price after labor. At least a friend and I were able to install these ourselves pretty quickly and painlessly. Hell my dealership even enjoyed doing my custom alignment with them since they're so easy to adjust.

so which would you guys prefer? I've been waiting on the whiteline ones for a while, but I have a better chance of finding bigfoot than the whiteline products being released.

Cusco is our personal favorite, but the SPC ones get the basic job done for the right price.

We needed more than 2 degrees of adjustment so Cusco is what we use right now.

how are the installation of these? is it pretty straight forward easy? mind you, i have no lifts other than the regular jack with 4 stands. I've also asked around regular auto shops and it ranges from $240 to $480 for a set of rear camber arms and rear toe arms installed.

thanks

Arms are easy to install; did mine with the car on 4 jackstands. Make sure you got a breaker bar and some good penetrating lubricant.

I would add that when you put the new ones on, don't torque anything down until the suspension is loaded. I put the rear on jack stands, replaced the arms, then lowered the rear onto ramps, bounced the car a few times to let the suspension settle and then torqued everything down.

Put the new style arms on my FR-S. I am slammed on bc coilovers and running 9.5 wide wheels 35 offset. The arms allowed me to correct my camber from -2.8 to -1.8. They are great and easy to install. Look just like factory arms, but slotted. Paid $191.00 plus shipping at Enjuku Racing.
