Congrats!!! Please get a horizontal video of the scion light up dash and the LED badges. I am curious if it looks tacky or not. Thanks a ton for the stuff you already uploaded.
Oh!!!! That's heat transfer grease!! I'm actually an Electrical Engineer by schooling (UC Irvine in Cali), but got lost somewhere and went into sales and now marketing! Jokes on me!

Idk, the way the light shines off that paint, looks very different to me. it has a Blue glow to it at night. it has a brushed aluminum look to it in some of the pictures during the day. I typically don't give opinions until I know for sure, but my bet is, it is a unique color. It's like trying to gauge an opinion on an Imola Orange Acura NSX, the color is so unique, pictures really are not accurate representations of the actual color in person. This may (or may not be) the case...what I am saying is, I reserve my right to say "i love it" or "hate it" until I have enough information to make that call. my 2 cents.

Sorry, I'm not too crazy about the color. It reminds me too much of the "arctic silver" on my '97 BMW 318ti and my wife's former "blue water metallic" BMW X3. (You can Google both). I'm tired of BLUE! End of rant.

... sorry for my rants. I'm getting overly impatient. I'm tired of driving a Corolla with "electric power steering that is dull and overly light". ... and I'm second-guessing why I'm waiting over a month for a car with a few goodies that are not absolutely "deal killers". I'll shut up and be patient!

LOL totally what I'm thinking. Our city is flooding for the first time in forever and I'm worried about my 10 series getting here safely.

New forum member here and expecting my FR-S edition series within the week here in Austin Tx. My dealer says it arrived in Houston port a few days ago. MSRP base is $29,480. Time to step out of my 2001 Toyota Solara convertible for a new ride. I'll keep the solara since i've babied it since rolling it off the same dealer lot (Autonation). Not sure what to expect though I took a test spin in the FR-S earlier in the week. I'm the first one at the dealership to put my deposit down a month ago.

I received similar news from my dealer with the same MSRP. Did you order the MT or Auto?

Having actual 10 Series in a showroom would allow them to show off their celebration and bring customers into the dealer. Heck in the very least they should of had each model delivered by June 7th, and kept them under sheets for the weekend until Monday June 10th and all had celebration gatherings for the unsheeting similar to the first 86. That is how you run a celebration/anniversary.

Would you celebrate your anniversary with your spouse/significant other acknowledging it is your anniversary but then be like well I have something for you and we can celebrate, but you have to wait a bit. Oops I mispelled something on the Hallmark card, can you wait another 2 weeks until I fix it, can't give you a hallmark card with something misspelled. Oh we can finally celebrate and I have your gift and its imminent and will happen any hour. Oooh sorry I don't know what happened.

Thats my $0.02
Spot on. I think a TMS manager has unofficially ended their climb up the corporate ladder with this outrageous insult. By now, it's us loyalists who are keeping the (HID) lights on, I'm sure potential conquest sales and impulse buyers went elsewhere by now while others decided to wait for 2014's. For a brand trying to regain it's footing, they instead shot themselves in both feet.

I hope those who had cars waiting weeks at North American POE's don't encounter any paint issues from industrial fallout. Check the dry, clean clearcoat for any etching or pitting and note any flaws in writing before leaving the dealership. The late arrivals needn't worry, our cars still had their wrappers on sitting in Japan, in my case since May 14th.

Thankfully UNICRN is helping soothe my anxiety (more like anger) or I'd be over at the Subaru dealership again.
