I don't think Scion realizes how many more sales they would have if they just made fun of how stupid the whole idea is. A commercial like that would work wonders for the brand. I mean Kia did it w/ Hamsters. Hamsters.....

Scion takes themselves waaay too seriously, they need to stop over-thinking it. Only a psychotic tortured mind would conceive of Gap dressed hipsters frolicking around w/ sparklers at a picnic. Not only does it make you NOT want to buy a Scion, it makes you want to renounce your citizenship and move to a foreign country.

/end rant

In reality, the vehicles should have been made earlier, with all of them shipped & allocated by June 1st or at least one vehicle for each dealer with the rest coming for mid-Jube. Dealers could then have them on their showroom floor until official sale day as we were told of June 10th. Having actual 10 Series in a showroom would allow them to show off their celebration and bring customers into the dealer. Heck in the very least they should of had each model delivered by June 7th, and kept them under sheets for the weekend until Monday June 10th and all had celebration gatherings for the unsheeting similar to the first 86. That is how you run a celebration/anniversary.

Would you celebrate your anniversary with your spouse/significant other acknowledging it is your anniversary but then be like well I have something for you and we can celebrate, but you have to wait a bit. Oops I mispelled something on the Hallmark card, can you wait another 2 weeks until I fix it, can't give you a hallmark card with something misspelled. Oh we can finally celebrate and I have your gift and its imminent and will happen any hour. Oooh sorry I don't know what happened.

Thats my $0.02

I'm hoping the extra time was used to iron out some kinks and essentially prep the 10 series as MY2013.5s. Supposedly the chirp was fixed in the Subies, but no official TSB for Toyota? I doubt a fix that would result in an update during factory assembly would only be applied to Subarus and not Toyotas built next to them. Apart from cosmetics, any updates for one would have to be for both. Otherwise adding more variables slows things down and adds to costs. Auto makers don't like that. Hopeful.

I really didn't think it would be in so soon, considering all the delays.

Guys, I'm glad you all like the color. If the 10 Series did not have several options I crave , I wouldn't be driving a rented Corolla for almost a month (Dealer traded me out of my 335i expecting much sooner delivery). Sorry, I'm not too crazy about the color. It reminds me too much of the "arctic silver" on my '97 BMW 318ti and my wife's former "blue water metallic" BMW X3. (You can Google both). I'm tired of BLUE! End of rant.

This is not my car (this car is in much better condition! lol), but this is what I mean by "arctic silver".

One news recap did state that the new Ignition Silver was "expensive-looking". If it's reminding you of BMWs, I guess it is succeeding.

Personally, the Argento color has always made me go "wow", especially this series of pictures. I'm just hoping Ignition Silver looks even better.

@UNICRN
Congrats!!! Please get a horizontal video of the scion light up dash and the LED badges. I am curious if it looks tacky or not. Thanks a ton for the stuff you already uploaded.
