Just got home from the dealer after swapping OEM tires for the MPSS. I echo the "night and day" response from the thread. The steering has a more on-center feel and the car feels more settled all around (probably the rubber they "should" have put on the car). I used to run these tires on my '10 GT3 and loved them. I used to say that if Michelin PS2 and Sport Cups had a child...it would be the MP Super Sports!

Track report to come soon....

Stock 215/45/17, think they filled it to 35 cold. I usually run this tire at low-mid 30's hot on my other cars, although I will see how they work at those pressures with such a light car.

I loved the Pilot Super Sports on my 550i. They did wear a bit quickly, I must say. They also got sort of slippery on the track, but it was a 4000lbs car. Wonderfully predictable on losing grip once they were a bit warmed up. Tons of fun. When I'm done with the Primacys, I'll switch to them, probably. Then again, there are soooooo many options...

The stock which was swapped out for Pilot Super Sports cars are really gorgeous. The new styles of tires are also impressive. I am madly waiting for Sunday when you view the new skins. Thank you so much.

PS2 or pilot super sport? different tires. Tires should be set at what the door says.

PS2, but they are different sizes, isn't the door PSi for stock set up.

Usually they recommend what's on the door. You can always change from there. Tires can go much higher, of course, but when you heat them up, they'll go higher still. Just try some different amounts until you find something that grips better. You can also draw with chalk on the treat and see if it's rubbed off evenly after you drive. If there's more left in the middle, you're under-inflated. More on the edges and you're over inflated.

I swear by the Super sports for all around tires. with a bit of spirited driving and normal commuting they are the real deal, and they also look sweet. The only issue we had with them is that they get eaten up real quick , very very quick but that was on a torque crazy monster cl63 and a Ferrari 458 so i assume they are going to last a lot on the 86's.

I had Super Sports on my Mk6 gti they made a huge difference. I used the stock oem size as well, however with the brz should i go up one size larger in tire from the 215 stock to a 225?

I've been debating this in my head for a while. I think I want more grip, but I'm not planning on any power mods - so maybe I don't want more grip.
