Just called the subaru dealer and they refused to even check the fuel injecton system and also denied that toyota changed their fuel systems. I guess a call to Subaru Canada should solve it

Nice! I still can't decide what front pipe to get, the front pipe is litterally a pipe with nothing at all in the end lol

Good job buddy, hopefully next time I will be a better challenge. Slicks in the rain didn't quite prove to be on my side! Lol I'm driving to ogdensburg Saturday to pick up my supercharger and a new set of rubber. it's funny that I was told I had already done my 6th lap when I was sure I hadn't because I only have 5 times posted... Any suggestions on where to buy tires in ogdensburg?

congrats guys

Nice job at the autocross all. Chad, I would order you tires through tirerack and have them shipped to UPS store in Ogdensberg. If you did it today they just might make it there by the weekend.

I also called ottos Subaru today and the service tech had never heard of the crickets before!! Seems like the common knowledge hasn't made it to canada. The guy said to bring it in but if they are clueless I doubt anything will be done. With that said... The crickets are harmless and are only an audible annoyance to some. It's not hurting your car.

im sure with less rain you'll tighten that gap in no time! when i was looking at the times i was like hmm no 6th lap... go figure i would maybe bring it up at the next event that you attend and maybe you could get a free event voucher for them kinda screwing you on your last run. would be worth a try! as for tires tire rack is probably your cheapest bet. as for which rubber I would say hankook RS3s or Dunlop Direzza ZII, Kumho Ecsta XS has a really awesome tread pattern in my opinion haha their also reasonably well rated. if your looking for something that will last you a little longer the hankook v12 EVOs are really good tires and wont cost you point at autocross .

also check out the ratings and reviews of the tires on tire rack its a good way to see their performance!

Heh, well, I didn't represent the FR-S well -- I bailed after two runs.

The weather was just too annoying. Shoes & socks were soaked through, the temperature was dropping and my jacket was back in the paddock sitting in a puddle. The rain also killed the club's timing equipment. They were doing their best to make up for it with manual timing, but...

After doing my marshaling duty, with no sign of any break in the rain, I decided to call it a day. Hopefully the next event will be dryer!

Will give Subaru of Canada a call and see what they say. When Toyota are able to replace it why not Subaru. Not worried about the crickets, it's just that if warranty is able to fix that annoying sounds Why Not get it changed.
