Do you have a hard drive hooked to that unit? How does then head unit work with it?

I used to have an SSD hooked up, but I recently bought an iPod classic 160gb to use in all my cars.

Hey @2forme, have you tried using the TV app? Just curious if you had any antenna's you'd recommend. I tried a cheapo ebay one, and it seems to have the wrong connection on it.

No I haven't tried. Isn't the OTA TV all digital now?

Yup, but as far as i know, the back of the knock off accepts a DTV input. I'll do some more looking around to see if i can find something that works.

I love the subs, thats exactly what I wanted to do to mine. I might hit you up with some questions or maybe some more pics... Might have to build mine JUST like this!

Just wondering how the Hertz amp is secured to the floor? Did you drill holes or use some sort of adhesive?

As far as audio equipment/speakers being used what do you recommend? I am looking for equipment with a flat sound. Keep in mind i have B&W loudspeakers at home as a reference. From what i understand as of now JBL currently makes some of the best aftermarket audio equipment?

2forme, I would love to see the pics of the hertz in the dash and the trunk - did you take them down to add more pics of the head unit?

I am working on my build right now, almost definitely doing the hsk 163s, but thinking Polk d5000.5 for the amp and a 10" image dynamics sub.

I took them down.

I actually have the HSK's with mounting adapters for the BRZ/86 up for sale. 500 + shipping.

I'll PM you the dash pictures I had taken when I had the car.
