Today I spoke to one of the Parts Manager for parts for the fix in case they dont cover it under warranty. Told him the situation and the issues there has been for certain cars. He really got into the talk and said he was going to look into it to have parts in stock.

Listed some pricing for me for wholesale account.

DI - (two kinds) one for $234.57, and $115.71
Coils - $81.10
Spark Plugs - $12.72

I didnt get price on seals alone though.

two kinds of DI's?

Hmm, i checked the subaru parts catalog and see 3 part #'s listed for the "front" injector, with descriptions of Mark 1, Mark 2 and Mark 3 (Part #'s 16611JB010, 16611JB020 and 16611JB030 respectively.) I wonder if that's why we're seeing some cars have more issues than others? This is all assuming that the "Front" injector is the direct injector, hard to tell since there is no diagram, but it is the more expensive of the two.

Has anyone fixed it with just replacing the coil on number 1 cyl?

Has anyone confirmed that 01C is available in the US yet? I thought that was a non-us market TSB.

thats because after it leaned out and melted the end off the plug off, its no longer firing and just loads up with fuel and sometimes detonates

Any meaningful posts you've made on this forum are essentially worthless after your constant ad hominem attacks against posters.

We're both just padding our post counts at this point aren't we?
