By the way where is this located on the BRZ? Can you get to it without taking anything apart? There is a subaru dealer close to my house, if they have a BRZ I'll try to see if I can get a pic for u.

Thanks! The sensor is located on the dash near the windshield, passenger side. It's mounted onto the defroster trim garnish.

As for the BRZ forums, I did post in there as well, but still nothing.

You got a deal! Thanks again for the pics.

Yeah, I did get the springs on. My sons were bugging me to help, so I went ahead and did it in my driveway.

I was able to get pics of the sensor plug, thanks to @King Tut, but am still waiting on Tweak'd Performance to get me the pins & hopefully a plug.

Another possible finding! While I'm TDY I have a 2013 Toyota Highlander as a rental car. It has the auto headlight feature and I took a look at the sensor. It looks identical to the one in the BRZ! The part number is 8912150020 and is used in 08-on Highlanders and 05-on Avalons. I haven't had a chance to pull it out to look at the plug, but if it is indeed the same one, it gives us a better chance to find one in a junk yard. If any of you know if one of these cars is in a nearby junk yard can you drop by to check it out? I've e-mailed a few that specialize in Toyotas and am waiting to hear back.

Interim update:

I'm still deployed, so I haven't been able to do the auto headlight feature. However, I did gather more info on the rear foglight wiring! You can follow this link and download the updated BRZ wiring guide (http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...25#post1165225), starting on page 218. Or, here's the Reader's Digest version:

Pin 2 from stalk connector to D5 (at Main Body ECU) pin 26
Pin 3 from A73 (MBECU) to Pin 1 on relay (relay spot in engine bay fuse box)
Pin 26 from 3C (on Junction Box 3 beside MBECU) to Pin 2 on relay
Pin 2 from 10A fuse (engine bay fuse box) to Pin 3 on relay
Pin 5 from relay to rear fog light

You can wire it this way, which is OEM, but sounds really painful and difficult.

Or, I was thinking just put a relay under the dash beside the MBECU, run the wires to it there, and tap into the fuse box under the dash, then run your light wiring.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Call me dumb, but what is the overall goal with this project? Maybe I can help.

I have the EDM stalk in my car and am working to get the auto headlight and rear foglight features to function. The auto headlight is a matter of wiring to/from the Main Body ECU and stalk to the sensor. The rear foglight is a matter of wiring to/from the MBECU, stalk and light. The biggest limfac right now is finding a source for the ECU pins.
