Anybody know what the OE light sensor is on the car?

Well, after even more research I've determined there's a wire going from the switch, pin 19, to the MB ECU D5 connector, pin 23. I think I've gotten it figured out, just waiting on the parts!

OK, here's what I think is the final answer regarding the wiring:

1. Add a wire from stalk pin 19 to MB ECU D5 pin 23

2. Add 3 wires from the sensor to MB ECU D6 as follows:
- sensor pin 6 to D6 pin 13
- sensor pin 4 to D6 pin 14
- sensor pin 3 to D6 pin 15

3. Install sensor in dash and you're set!

I've attached a simplified schematic to help:

great work so far i just ordered all the stuff for my fog lights so this is what i will be looking forward to doing next good luck with the rest of the install i'll be looking forward to seeing how this turns out
