Had day 1 out of 2 for the last event of the year today. Great weather for a november in the midwest.

Since the last event I had a alignment finally done and camber bolts.


We noticed that the way everything is setup that toe in the front didnt change when we added or reduced the amount of camber. So we can adjust on raceday if needed.

This was my first run into the 40s 40.833+OFF This was my 3rd run. I was shocked when I got back to the van and seen the off course call. I knew I was not off course and the video proved it. I'm just glad I was able to get two more runs that were faster then that. If someone can see a place where I went off course in this run please let me know I looked and could not see it. Brian thought the call came from back by the sweeper but was not sure.

STX first place went to a rx8 with a 39.7 so at this point we are thinking about adding a little more camber and getting wider tires/wheels durring the winter. Currently on 225/45/17 star specs on the 7inch wide rim.

So this was the 2nd day of the of the two day final event.

I drove a little worse today but managed 13th pax overall out of 67 people. Day 1 I was 24th on pax out of 96 drivers how ever that works out. codriver took 8th on pax the 2nd day.

My co-driver found the car with stock springs/shocks the rebound was to stiff. After everybump on our lot the car would get upset. So wider tires and wheels is the first thing I'm going to do over the off season and then look into adjutable shocks so I can try softening the rebound.

Here is my only clean run of the day. 51.124 really was not all that clean still showing a lot of oversteer in places where I did not want it.

Nice runs, smooth. Which tires do you like better overall the RS-3's or the Dunlops. I race on asphalt in mostly cool temps but a few hot weather events mid-summer. If you had to pick one, which woul dyou choose. I liked Dunlops on my CRX, but this car is different.

I would take the dunlops... but if you have a co-driver RS3s.

First event yesterday of the season. Took First in STX only 5 drivers two wrx's a brz and two Fr-s.

First event with the new wheels RPF1 17x9 +35 and trying a toyo r1r 245/35/17 for the first time. They were pretty nice. Used had about 20 runs on them before me. And a few years old. Had to treat them with Formula V for a few days. Will be running a 245/40 Rs3 when it warms up. The car felt so much lighter even with the wheel change.

EcuTek kit with Stage 1 tune and the e85 tune.

Coilovers will come next year along with header and full exhaust. Things have been looking nice in the header department the last few weeks want to see how things pan out there first.

Had our first event at our local club yesterday. After my 2nd run I was told about a loud sound coming from my passenger rear tire. Kept looking at it all day but could not figureo it out and I let it bother my driving.

Got the car home and turned out when I put my race tires on I never torqed those lugs down on that wheel. Major fucking facepalm. Two highway trips and 14 runs between two people that could have ended badly. Was thinking it was driveline issues after testing out raised rev limiter tunes durring the week.
Took 3rd in stx was down about a 1.5 seconds of the rx8 in first. My co-driver took 2nd as he was less worried about it.

Props to @FA20Club.com for getting different tunes through out the week to get ready for the weekend. We ended up getting a major snow storm and the event today was shutdown.

So this weekend had a two day advanced test n tune. Got about 38 runs in on a 50 second course.

However I have been frustrated at work the last few weeks and I was hoping to get some aggression out this weekend but no. I had a lot of it and it only got worse as it came through in my driving.

Have not posted in a bit. Had a great weekend with the final setup for now.

Here is my fastest run from Sunday. 49.9+1. Had 11 in class would have taken 3rd in class but ended up not being able to clean it up. Got faster but just a tight course. Got back into 1st 3 times just to keep momentum. Course was a weird one 3 different surfaces. 1 patch of concrete. 1 patch of asphalt that was coated and one that was non coated.
